Ego Apartments Old Town

This apartment is well located in Old Town, within walking distance to a great many attractions - New Town, Barbican and the Royal Route. It is outfitted well, has a great view, and is really well located for access to Old Town, which is a fairly touristic area. The problems are lack of transportation to the building address and the 60 steps up to the apartment from the ground floor of the building. Important: my experience was that Uber drivers did not drop off or pick up at the address. It's unknown whether taxi drivers can do so. The street the apartment is located is a bit difficult to find, and requires a significant hike up to Old Town from the street. It was a trek up to the address and then a further hike up the 60 stairs. This is probably not a good location if a traveler has heavy luggage. One of the wheels on my suitcase was ripped off and lost on my trek back down to the street on my departure.

The location is great! Almost facing Market Square, the heart of the beautiful old town. The apartment also looks nice. Caution: it has no rift/elevator and the room is on the third floor (which is the fourth floor in the US), so bringing up large luggage would be tough. The apartment room is well-equipped (including a bus tab). The only thing I missed was a coffee maker.

the smell in the building is HORRIBLE. gets in the room yoo if u open the window. its from the restaurant... made me sick every time i went in and out. oh and theres no 'river view' , tree or no tree. i stayed at the 'design apartment' on Rynek Starego Miasta 26. owner not very communicative on whatsup ( one time didn't answer at all). the only thing going for that place is the location inside the old town. if it wasnt for that, i would ask for my money back

Everything was good. The place was as described a nice big place. The only issue was that the front door was locked and while we got a code to use, it wasn’t linked to the front door in any way. When calling the number given, we were first told to push the door hard to get it open and then to ask the restaurant to either open the door. They did but it happened repeatedly as we were coming in an out and coming back late and ultimately we had to really push the door to open it which disturbed the other people living in the same block. Disappointing. Please fix it for the future as the place is nice otherwise and the location is perfect.

Nice place, great location. Host was very quick to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay everything was within walking distance, apartment clean, only minus was that it was on the 3rd floor only stairs.

One of the best places in the city. Right in the heart of old town. The apt was clean, everything accessible. Beautiful bathroom, big living room, nice kitchen. The only thing, we would have liked to have was couple of bottles of water when we arrived. But fortunately the grocery was next door. Absolutely recommend this place. Then you for a great experience.

This is a great property. Everything was clean and pretty new. The beds were comfortable and great views from all the windows. The location is unmatched. It is close to all the fun, but the block away made it a quiet retreat. Our flight time was canceled, and they rebooked us on an earlier flight which got us to Warsaw at 6:00 am. We were concerned about what we were going to do with all our luggage for the morning. We contacted the host, and they had no other bookings the night before and let us move in right away. Great place, a great host, book this place. You will not be disappointed. The place is better than the pictures.

Our stay at Ego Apartments was perfect. The apartment was clean, had a great location and the management had great communication and accommodated our late check out graciously. Highly recommended.
