I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

Front desk staff was pretty rude, the location is in a pretty rough area and the parking on site is expensive and inconvenient.

Booked this hotel with the understanding there is an option for buffet breakfast at $10/person as stated in trip.com. Request for this at check-in but hotel declined stating that they only serve ala-carte breakfast. Called trip.com support to resolve issue. However, trip.com unable to solve issue and offer to compensate with trip coins instead and the value of trip coins offered is for 1 person instead of 2 persons as booked for this room.
One of the 2 bedside lamps is not in good working condition - light goes out when there is vibration/contact with the lamp. Reported to front desk but the fix was no good. Problem recurred intermittently.
A bit of mould on bath tub grouting.

The hotel has an artsy vibe and the decorations are very modern. It has onsite parking ($52/night) which makes life easier for us. There was a bit of hiccup during our check in as someone from Trip.com cancelled our booking on the day I made the booking. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us contact here and there to ensure we get the room back. Will definitely stay here again when coming to visit DC.

The staff is really amazing. So nice since the arrival til the checkout. The room was really big, with an amazing full window view. Breakfast was tasty and simple (8/10). The gym is clean and has the basic machines you need. The location is perfect. Really recommended.

Stay was a complete and utter disaster. Firstly, the air conditioning system was loud, with no way to turn it down to a quiet, low or silent mode. One setting: maximum. Despite that, the AC never got cold, just cool, despite setting the temperature to the lowest I could adjust the thermostat to. Finally, and worst of all, I needed to get laundry done urgently. Dropped off my laundry at the reception as soon as I checked in (around 4pm) and requested an express service, as I was checking out the next day. Nothing came back by 5pm next day, and when I escalated, it took the team over 1.5 hours to track down my clothes, only to find they were still unwashed. Hotel laundry isn’t cheap, so there’s an expectation that they’d be able to at least get it right. Unfortunately, not in this case.
