TThe hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore Washington's main attractions. The rooftop pool was a great bonus and a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, the staff was friendly and responsive throughout our stay.
There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The pool could have been cleaner, especially considering how small it is and how quickly it fills up with guests. More frequent cleaning during the day and a few additional shaded seating areas would make the experience much more enjoyable.
The air conditioning unit in our room was also very noisy, especially at night.
We also experienced a very unsettling incident when a maintenance staff member attempted to enter our room in the middle of the night because he believed it was unoccupied. Fortunately, we had the security latch engaged, so he was unable to enter. We reported the incident the following morning, and to the hotel's credit, the staff took it seriously and addressed it promptly.
One final tip for future guests: the hotel's valet parking is quite expensive. There are several much more affordable parking garages just a short walk away, so it's worth looking into those before parking at the hotel.
