The Charming Lonno Lodge Watamu

We could not possibly rate this more highly. In fact, on a par with or better than anything we experienced across luxury, service, location. The team are very special, Raymond (Ray, it was terrible!!) Alan, Grace, Janet, Raja, Chris, Gabriel and of course Sylvie and Aldo who have created this breathtaking hotel. Go. As simple as that. We will certainly be back. Thank you for an exquisite 5 days.

Lonno lodge is heaven! Tranquility and elegance combined with the beauty of the ocean. Silvia is so warm and hospitable and made us feel at home. We had amazing stay there with lots of cocktails and delicious food!

We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to return. Fantastic hosts, comfortable rooms, fabulous views. Awesome service- Sylvia organized great trips for us, she booked dinners and had great advice for perfect days. Perfect place to chill or adventure- with comfortable day beds outside, electric bikes and fabulous walks. Everything here is elevated- they have their own tuk-tuk to get you around, which is super clean, large and comfortable. Their airport shuttles are exceptional- super comfortable vehicle and great driver.

We stayed at the Lonno for three nights during the off season and we practically had the place to ourselves. Everyone at the Lonno was friendly and helpful from the owner to the servers. The food was great. The accommodations were comfortable. The Lonno sits right at the water's edge with steps that lead to the ocean. It's an absolutely beautiful location.

We stayed with our family at Lonno Lodge and had the most relaxing week! The owners are very welcoming and great hosts! The staff is so friendly and the rooms are very clean and so comfortable. The experience is luxurious in every way and they made us feel at home. The location is also perfect and we were able to take their electrical bikes to the center to eat ice cream. I would recommend anyone to book your holiday here!

I loved my stay at Lonno. The entire team is very friendly and professional. From the on time airport transfers to the hotel team, everyone made me feel welcome and safe. Silvia, Grace, Rajab and everyone were just amazing and treated me like a long lost friend. The rooms are beautiful and the food is pretty good! The entire property is marvellous and they have 2 stunning dogs that are friendly and gentle. I really enjoyed my time there and would have definitely extended it had there been an available room.

Our stay at the hotel was incredibly enjoyable. We felt comfortable under the care of Sylwia and Aldo, for which we sincerely thank them. They helped us organize our time and explore the surrounding attractions. The hotel is beautiful, situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean, with unique architecture using local materials. The pool is large. It recently opened a new spa.The food was delicious. This was our first time in Kenya and we traveled there with some concerns. The hotel has warm and friendly atmosphere that made us eager to return to The Charming Lonno Lodge. Iza
