Ibis Hotel (Weihai Weigao Square Xingfu Gate)

Overall, it's a really good stay. It's clean and hygienic, and the location is very convenient—close to the Happiness Gate (Xingfumen) and not far from the Liugong Island Pier. The only minor issue is that the elevators are a bit slow, but it's manageable. It was probably due to the high occupancy rate during the holidays. The breakfast is decent with plenty of staple food options, though they could add a few more vegetable dishes. Still, it's fine for filling you up. All in all, a great experience. The most important thing is that it's clean and hygienic, so it's definitely worth a return visit.

The location is very convenient for self-driving and parking, as is characteristic of Ibis hotels. The room was clean, and we got a complimentary breakfast upgrade, which was a nice bonus! The hotel lobby also had a touch of artistic flair. Recommended!

Booked this hotel for a trip to Weihai. The room was quiet and exceptionally clean, which really satisfied my germophobia. The entire room is smart-enabled, and getting to all the attractions is quite convenient. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave us bottles of water upon check-out. I declined at first, but highly recommend this place since it's a chain hotel.

As a mom with two daughters, I went to Weihai and stayed at this Ibis hotel. The service was excellent, both from the front desk and the housekeeping staff – everyone was very patient and kind. 👌 The hygiene was good, and it's quite close to Qixia Street. The facilities were great: hot water came out quickly, the bathroom had good wet/dry separation, the air conditioning was quiet, and the Wi-Fi signal was full and smooth even with multiple users. The switches and showerhead were well-maintained and worked smoothly. The room had no strange odors, which was great. 👌 The details were very thoughtful; there were USB ports next to the outlets, so I didn't need to bring my own charging block. The small table by the window was just the right height, perfect for sitting down and enjoying a cup of my own herbal tea – it felt incredibly comfortable. It definitely didn't feel like the typical hotel where facilities are just put in to meet a quota. Honestly, I have no complaints. The TV didn't lag, the hot water was hot enough, the AC didn't blow directly on me, and even the inside of the kettle was sparkling clean with no limescale. All the things I care about most when staying in a hotel were perfectly met. As someone who regularly practices Baduanjin at home, I appreciated that the room had ample open space and a very generous layout, completely free from any cramped or crowded feeling.

So, I'm finally writing a review after they messaged me on WeChat asking for one. When we checked in, the front desk tried to upsell us on a 49-yuan breakfast, claiming it came with a free room upgrade and late checkout. We declined, and even though they pushed a bit, we still didn't buy it. I'm not saying I'm giving a bad review just because they didn't offer those services. It's just that I've stayed at other hotels under HUAZHU and the experience was completely different – I won't go into details here. I hope the hotel can improve its management in the future and prevent staff from using such pushy sales tactics, as it makes guests uncomfortable. Just my personal opinion, no need to be offended!

The room was spacious and very clean. There's a breakfast spot right outside, which was super convenient. It's also just an 8-10 minute walk to Xingfu Gate. The laundry and drying facilities were really handy, and the service was excellent. They even cleaned the room and changed the sheets during my extended stay.
