The bed and shower were great, and the location was decent. That’s the only positive thing I can say although I rated those poorly for the sake of the effect it should have). I would not suggest this place to anyone. For 1000rmb this place sucks and should be criminally investigated.
There was a cigarette smoke smell that came in all the time from the air vents. The air conditioner was as low as I could put it and I still sweat all night long, the room was never even close to a comfortable temperature.
The website and signs all over the hotel advertise lots of things. A game room with a pool table, a fitness room, a cafe, a golfing room, a bar and lounge, a nightclub, an outdoor garden, a spa. Unfortunately, it didn’t have any of these things. Yes, the rooms were there, but the services were not. There’s a sign in the game room that says you have to pay to enter but there’s no one ever at the desk and you can’t even turn on the lights.. the bar is not on the floor they said it was, and was never open. The spa has an extensive list yet they don’t actually have any of those. I asked for a hot stone massage (which they advertised, but didn’t actually provide and didn’t tell me that they couldn’t actually do), they just sent someone to my room to offer me *special* services for 4000rmb and the masseuse left early for another client when I didn’t agree after half an hour of her trying to convince me. It took 30 minutes and a threat of involving the authorities before the spa even considered a partial refund. Fitness room asked for an annual card (paying for a room should allow access to the gym during the stay, that’s absurd). No garden no nightclub. No golf simulator. No cafe. Just a lot of empty rooms and dark hallways. The staff were EXTREMELY loud in the early morning outside in the hallway. There is a room service menu in the room advertised as 24 hours service. I arrived late at night around 10:30 PM and called room service but they were closed. I also tried to call another day at lunchtime while I was doing some work in the room and they said they were closed so I went to the restaurant (during lunch hours) and asked to see a menu and was told they only have buffet, no menus to order from; yet there is an extensive menu of each restaurant in the room.
An overall exhaustingly awful experience that if it weren’t for my tight time table and extenuating circumstances should have resulted in me being refunded in full for the entire stay and have the police brought in. Do NOT book this ********.
I can read and speak chinese so there was no language issue. Just a quality issue. DO NOT GO
