Green Habitat Ayurveda Resort and Spa

We stayed in Madunandani for two weeks in July-August 2014. In fact, it's a fantastic place in the outskirts, surrounded by jungle. You see monkeys, squirrels, tuataras (swimming in the nearby river), peacocks, iguanas and other interesting critters live freely here. The location is quite good, with birds chirping and dogs barking in the nearby village at night. The beach is about a 10 minute drive from here. The waves in July are pretty rough, but there is a fixed (relative) bay where you can swim normally. Ayurvedic medicine is very specialized and to our surprise, pulse diagnostics is no joke and very effective. I live with our daughters (10 & 13) and we each receive individualized treatment, which is essential and it is comprehensive. The food was fantastic with a huge variety, many of which we didn't know about before. But be prepared, there will be no meat, alcohol or anything else that is not welcome in Ayurveda. There are currently only two double guest rooms with AC available and we are the only tenants surrounded by care and kindness. Frankly, we only asked for our room to be cleaned once a day (it turned out they were scheduled twice a day). A typical day consists of the following program: morning tea - breakfast - Ayurvedic treatment (about 4 hours) - juice - lunch - beach trip - tea - dinner. It's too late to get bored. Some excursions are also included. Special thanks to Dr Seth who is amazing, very interesting man and a true Ayurvedic specialist. We remember his smile and kindness. We will definitely come back again.
