Upon arrival to the village, we called the hotel and they sent the golf cart to pick us up as the village is car-free. We got to the hotel and were welcomed. Y the hotel manager who had our reservation in hand including the room keys. We walked into the room and noticed that there is no air condition but realized that the nights are cool and A/C is not necessary. We slept with the windows open the entire stay and it was very comfortable. We got up for breakfast and our table was numbered with our room #, covered with white table cloth, coffee cups and plates ready to go. Breakfast was amazing with coffee, tea, juices, cheeses, jelly, eggs, croissants and many more. You can also order your eggs a la cart. The waiters had white gloves and extremely accommodating. We asked to be moved from the restaurant area to the out cove for a better view and they moved us for the rest of our stay. The views are stunning, this place is highly recommended

We could not have been happier at Hotel Wengener Hof. If you want a gracious European hotel in the heart of Wengen, this is it. We arrived at 10:30 PM in the rain and called from the train station as their website advised. The porter arrived promptly and picked us up. The front desk was closed, but our keys were on the desk. Because our reservation included breakfast and dinner, and since we had missed dinner, there were two plates of meat and cheese and two bottles of beer waiting for us in our room. What a lovely surprise. The meals in the hotel dining room were excellent; a great breakfast buffet and fine dining for dinner. One night we went to their sister hotel for dinner instead and that was a nice change. The hotel is ideally located; it's an easy walk to everything including the train in Wengen. They told us that on check out day we could leave our luggage at the hotel and they would bring it to the station for us later if we wanted to spend more time in the area after checkout. They also gave us great advice about train and gondola tickets while we were in town. We will be back!

I do enjoy living there. The hotel is the best I have ever lived. The stuff are very kind and helpful. They are always there to help. The environment around is wonderful. The breakfast and the lunch are great. The room is tidy and clean. The hotel Would always a smart chose for travel.

The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet location, yet close to the village centre, cable car and railway station. The hotel is friendly, with character and nice gardens at the front. The rooms are pleasant and well equipped. The food was excellent, but the best part was the staff, who were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. My second visit and would go back again.

We stayed for three nights and expected to eat out most nights but after trying the food on the first night we ate at the hotel restaurant all three nights, the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful and even made special meals for the children, made the whole stay excellent which was really good after a long day exploring. One afternoon we were at one of the local bars in Wengen and it started to rain and rang the hotel and they came to pick us up, really excellent. We had one of the larger rooms and the beds were very comfortable.

We stayed for a week in a jungfrau view room with a balcony. The weather all week was amazing and we woke up each morning to stunning views of the Jungfrau. We had booked the top of europe deal which included a pass for all the cable cars and trains in the area and a packed lunch- this was well worth the money. The room was very comfortable though hot due to the heatwave. The food in the restaurant was delicious. There was a good choice at breakfast and the 5 course evening well was tasty and well presented. All the staff went out of their way to greet us and we have to say a special thanks to the waiters Matthias, Gabrielle and Simone and the manager Giovanni. We highly recommend this hotel for its personal service and position.

I stayed here for three nights, it was a wonderful, peaceful haven! The room I was allocated had a balcony and spectacular view of the mountains, and particularly the Jungfrau. It also has beautiful well-attended gardens with loungers etc for enjoying time to relax. The Wengener Hof is about a 10-minute walk up from the village, less back down. Close enough to the station for an easy walk, but far enough away not to have the hustle and bustle and noise. Dining room staff were very attentive, and Giovanni (manager, I think) does everything he can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. And I never saw him without a smile on his face – such a pleasure these days!

Nice place to enjoy your stay in Wengen. Nice room, beautiful bathroom, friendly staff, good food. Worth mentioning is the free use of the wellness area of the sister hotel Silberhorn, wellness with a view on the mountains. A perfect address for a break in Wengen.

A gorgeous building with some stunning features. Large bedroom, comfortable beds, small sitting area and kettle and fridge. Staff were exemplary, keen to please but with a great sense of humour. Food was good, plenty of it and presented well. Some may say the decor was a little outdated, but to us, this added to the charm.
