Beautiful quiet historic hotel. We were there in off season so most of the restaurants were closed but Ballards was delicious, especially the chicken quesadilla. Beautiful grounds. Our room was wonderful and quiet but could have used an end table. Really enjoyed our visit.

Great hotel. Experience wasn't perfect but it worked out. We were supposed to have a room overlooking the atrium. When my husband showered we realized the room had no hot water. Upon calling down to the desk she said "I thought they had it fixed". The hotel was full so we ended up getting a normal room on the perimeter of the hotel. It was fine but nothing special and they didn't do anything to compensate for the trouble. It ended up being fine but a bumpy start to our time there. Side note-- check out the Bagel shop at the end of the entrance to West Baden. They have a jalapeño egg sandwich that was fantastic!! Also, I recommend bringing your clubs and playing the Donald Ross course-- it was incredible!!

In April 2023 I reserved 4 rooms for 2 nights for the eclipse experience in April 2024 for my family & me. I live in Ohio, but they were coming from Florida and some had special requests for pillows, microwaves, etc. I contacted the hotel customer service several times for these issues and was always treated with courtesy. A few days before the eclipse the hotel actually contacted me to be sure all our needs were being met and all questions regarding food were answered. Our rooms were lovely and it was the experience of a lifetime for all of us.

There are not enough superlatives to describe our recent stay at West Baden Springs Resort, April 6-9. 2024. Like so many others from all over the country, we wanted to experience the solar eclipse in the most memorable way possible. And we did, thanks to the outstanding management and staff at West Baden. To a person, everyone my travel companion and I engaged was personable, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. People like Heather and Amanda in Sinclair’s, Melinda in Ballard’s, Jonathan in Ballard’s who went above and beyond the call of duty to insure us a seat on a very busy evening in the Atrium, Jesse on your valet staff, and Sara, housekeeping supervisor. There were so many others and I apologize for not remembering all their names. I also want to express our appreciation and enjoyment of the live music in the Atrium during our stay. It was a trio of superb musicians playing popular songs. I don’t know if the trio had a name, but they provided soothing and beautiful music. Artistically, they were fabulous. Yes, the setting both inside and outside the resort is impressive, but the people whom we met every day and who made our stay so enjoyable are what we cherish the most. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! If I were given the choice of a week’s stay in Cancun or a week’s stay at West Baden Springs resort in French Lick, Indiana, I would pick West Baden Springs. Don’t bother to flip the coin! We look forward to a return trip as soon as possible. P.S. The only thing that would have made our trip better, if that were even possible, would be golf at the Pete Dye and/or the Donald Ross golf courses. Perhaps next time! P.S.S. You might want to consider either adding an additional grab bar in the bathtub/shower, or better yet, convert to a walk-in shower/bath. Otherwise the room, a king suite, was impeccable.

Every part of our stay was excellent. I took my daughter here for a getaway, before the birth of her next baby. The service and follow up ahead of our stay - and the service while at the hotel exceeded my expectations. This includes everyone we encountered - desk clerk, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, spa staff - you name it - everyone was friendly and provided excellent service. We took the historic tours of both hotels - we highly recommend investing the time in these tours. Our room was wonderful, well appointed with comfortable beds, a large bathroom with everything we needed - and who knew that a balcony room overlooking the atrium meant we could open the doors and enjoy live piano music every evening being played in the atrium?! Food was excellent - shuttles back and forth between the hotels were great - I can't say enough about the wonderful, historic hotel!! Book your stay now!

The whole experience was great from the excellent food to the jazz in the library, the turn of the century vibe and impeccable service makes this a new regular stop for an unforgettable stay. Wish we could have done the hikes, weather permitting, maybe next time.

The West Baden Springs Hotel is a truly amazing, one-of-a-kind, hotel. Everything about this hotel is at the five-star level, and beyond. The property itself, with its huge atrium, is an out-of-this-world experience in and of itself. The guest rooms are large, luxuriously appointed, and quiet. The staff are excellent, and service is top-notch. A stay at the West Baden Springs Hotel is an amazing experience that should be on everyone's bucket list.

West Baden Springs Hotel is a beautiful place to visit. The restaurants are fabulous and very accommodating. The staff are excellent and so friendly. It’s a must when you are in Southern Indiana. French Lick Springs is very nice too but we did not stay there. Great experience.

First class experience from the moment I arrived at valet to the moment I had to sadly pull away from valet, several days later. My first time in French Lick, the breathtaking beauty of West Baden Springs and French Lick are not to be missed. If you want elegant grandeur, top notch service, outstanding food, endless activities, and plenty of ways to relax, this is THE place to go. My countryside view room was abolutely stunning. Gorgeous wallpaper, heavy brocade curtains, a sumptuous settee, leather club chairs, beautiful bathroom, and a luxuriously comfortable bed made it a dream accomodation. I enjoyed breakfasts in Cafe Sinclair - the corned beef hash and breakfast sandwich were outstanding. Justice, in particular, was an excellent server and enhanced my experiences in the dining room. Dinner at Ballard's was equally excellent. The WB kitchen team is SERIOUS about cooking delicious food. I also enjoyed two outstanding dinners at 1875 in French Lick Resort. Elegant service, perfectly prepared steak and seafood - simply perfect. I had the pleasure of meeting Mimi who is an absolute treasure. She made both my 1875 dinners so memorable. I spent an afternoon in the French Lick spa and it was fantastic. Wonderfully relaxing massage and pedicure in beautiful surroundings. Walking the grounds, in the park near West Baden and between both resort porperties, was invigorating and relaxing. I also hiked over to the stables to admire the animals and the stables team was superbly intelligent and very warm. Endless shopping was fantastic in both resorts. The library at West Baden was delightfully quiet and the perfect place to read my book. Live music in the atrium in the evenings with a cocktail was so fun. I experienced first class service everywhere I went and with anyone I spoke to. A few other standouts include the helpful men at valet, the shuttle drivers, and Lou and Cooper at the front desk. I had a five-star experience and cannot wait to go back.
