Vida Cayman Luxury Boutique Eco Hotel

We have a home on the island and chose Vida to escape for a perfectly relaxing moment to celebrate just us. Every one was so accommodating and helpful. The cooking class was excellent and so much fun not to mention delicious. We would love to return.

We just returned from a relaxing week at Vida. This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. Natalia and all of the staff went above and beyond in the service they provided. Our room was spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped, the spa-like bathroom had everything we needed. We enjoyed the patio in the morning and evening, so peaceful and private. Lunch each day at Nourish was delicious. So many healthy choices and wonderful flavours. We spent most afternoons either by the beautiful pool or the private beach. We look forward to returning some day!

Came here for my Daughter's 3rd Birthday, stayed only for one night, even though it was short, we enjoyed every moment of it. We had snacks by the pool when we came, which was really good and healthy! And Yes, Breakfast was Superb ! My Picky Daughter ate a lot! Hotel was clean, staffs are very accomodating. It's a very good place to relax and enjoy some time with your family. Thank you Vida Family specially Natalia for making our stay worthwhile. Will definitely come back soon !

How this property gets such consistently high reviews is odd. I read as many reviews as possible and never heard the truth. Here goes. Maybe listening to wild roaming roosters on the property and the immediate area all day and ALL night doesn't bother some people, but, if it does, I would choose different lodging. It is clean, neat, the staff is super nice and helpful, but, holy moly! I was booked for five nights and left after 3, even after trying their provided earplugs. The staff said they never have had complaints about the roosters, however they provide earplugs in all the rooms? Hard to believe. Also, don't imagine being IN the ocean as there is only a tiny bit of rocky beach (see pic) and you cannot wade into the water due to the rocks in and along the beach line. My balcony door was not lockable as there was a metal piece over the lock mechanism and no companion lock receptacle on the door frame for the lock to secure to (see pic). They did try to accommodate the rooster problem by moving me to a higher floor and much nicer room, but the rascals still screamed all night at a volume that would wake the dead. I had been signed up for the yoga, etc. classes but after getting no sleep, I did not feel like attending them and listening to more crowing as the yoga room is open to the sea air...and roosters. The property also felt very confining, closely surrounded by vegetation, and it has a very small pool. The first floor of rooms do not have a view of anything but the jungle canopy. The second room they moved me to on floor 4 had a view of the water, but again, I couldn't be out on the balcony one minute without music earbuds at full volume to drown out the crowing. They were very nice to refund me one night's stay. It's a tragic problem that cannot be avoided unless the roosters get eradicated, such a sweet property and sweet staff. So if you are wanting a relaxing, quiet vacation, I hope you are hard of hearing or you like roosters screaming all the time.

In a world full of stress and uncertainty, Vida is a rare oasis of calm. From the pristine, boho & beachy décor to a team that genuinely cares about every detail, this place cocoons you in comfort and understated luxury. I’m writing this from the pool deck, with the turquoise hot tub bubbling gently at my feet and the pool glittering just beyond. There are bean bags and recliners, soft music and a gentle breeze - and I just booked the outdoor barbecue so that we can grill tonight’s dinner. I don’t remember the last time I felt this peaceful. Last night, we were treated to a ‘Sound Bath’, under the stars on the yoga deck & the night before, we gathered at Nourish to learn how to make ravioli from scratch, sharing excellent wine, laughter, and stories with both new and familiar faces before sitting down together to enjoy our creations. Natalia and Edward at reception have been exceptional hosts, effortlessly anticipating every need before you even realize you need it! Their warmth and attentiveness has has made this stay even more delightful. Vida offers so much more than just a place to stay. There’s direct beach access for breezy walks and bicycles for exploring the island. The beds feel like clouds, and the rain-head showers are pure bliss. This experience has been perfection from start to finish. Whenever I return to Cayman, Vida will be my home away from home. Thank you for everything—truly, this place is a gem.

Vida Cayman is AMAZING. Everything was taken care of for us in a thoughtful and individualized way. Food is healthy and delicious - the dining area feels like home with warm greetings and care. Exercise classes that were perfect for 15 to 60 year olds. Adventures available for everyone: kite surfing, foiling, hikes, snorkeling, 7 mile beach social life, bike rides. The self-care spa offerings were some of the best I have ever had. Reiki, Massage, Facials, Nutrition Planning, Mobility assessment.... All of it was superb. We 100% recommend Vida Cayman to anyone wanting to spend a week of self care and adventuring.
