Upon arrival at Terminal 4, take the escalator up to Level 2 (Departures) and follow the signs to the hotel. The exit is via a skybridge, and it's only a few minutes' walk. The Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn are housed in the same complex. The hotel rooms feature laminated glass windows, providing excellent sound insulation, allowing you to enjoy views of planes taking off and landing nearby without the noise.
With a late-night flight, I booked an airport hotel. From Terminal 3, you need to take the airport's internal shuttle train, but it's easy to find by following the signs. Self check-in is available via machine; just enter your booking reference. The room came with a 1.5-meter double bed and a small sofa bed. Cleanliness was just passable. There was hair from a previous guest in the bathtub, and the pillow had some small stains. There was enough room to open two 28-inch suitcases. Its main draw, however, is its affordability and convenient location.
Very good hotel, clean, nice staff, the location is convenient for people arriving at Heathrow. It’s far from the main attractions in London, but I managed to use the public transportation. Took me around one hour to get to Paddington. There are some markets and restaurants nearby.

I stayed at the Best Western Ariel for one night before an early morning flight from Heathrow, and it was a solid choice for convenience. The location is great — only a few minutes from Terminals 2 and 3, and there's a shuttle bus that runs regularly. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, even with my late arrival.
The room was compact but clean, with everything I needed for a short stay — comfy bed, decent shower, and a kettle with tea and coffee. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it served its purpose well. The soundproofing was surprisingly good considering the proximity to the airport — I barely heard any planes.
Only downside was the breakfast — it felt a bit basic for the price. Also, the decor is a bit dated, but again, for a one-night airport stopover, it’s totally fine.
Would stay again if I need to be close to Heathrow!
It is a typical 4+ level hotel, modest decoration but does not look old fashion yet. Spacious, clean, bright and tidy room. Everything like desk, TV, mirrors, and bathroom iis surprisingly big in Europe, at this price level. Even the shampoo and body wash are jumbo sized. Tap and shower glass door need some maintenance. Huge basin countertop, good to put everything on. Some adjacent rooms can be connected to create a family room. The staff are polite and friendly.
The room was very clean, and it was the perfect choice for a layover as we had a flight the next day. A bus stop conveniently located right outside takes you directly to Terminal 5, with buses departing once an hour. We caught the 11:38 AM bus. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet.
It's a hygiene issue.
I was so surprised that when I came into the room, the bottle of water provided was already opened by someone else.
The location is acceptable, about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station.
Everything was great, can't really access to the gym room, the kettle was not clean to boil the hot water. staff was friendly and service was good! Breakfast can be more choices. Overall experience perfect!
One night stay at heathrow after a flight.
Emailed hotel the night before to ask for a nice view as it was my brothers birthday treat and he loved watching the planes. Had already booked a runway view room but some are on lower floors so more restricted. On arrival at the hotel they had upgraded us to a suite which was a really lovely gesture however we had booked a twin and the suite was a double. We asked for the sofa bed to be made up. After 4 visits to reception and a 5 hour wait, housekeeping finally made up the sofa bed. By this point we were extremely tired as we'd had a really long day so it did damper our experience a little. The birthday cake and note in the suite were a lovely touch.
With the upgrade, we were given access to the executive lounge which has a great view over the runway to watch the planes. Drinks available all day with alcohol in the evening and canapés. Unlike every other executive lounge ive been to, the canapés were served plated to your table which seemed a little strange and also made the service very slow as the lounge was full. Also meant there was a higher level of wastage as people didnt want some of the selection. Based on this visit, I wouldn't book a room for the lounge access. There are much better hotels at the airport with better lounges if that's what your looking for.
Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Again, great view of the runway. Aircon wouldn't go below 20 which was a little annoying with how warm London is at the moment.
Great selection at breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious food.
I would stay here again but wouldn't worry about access to the executive lounge as that was disappointing.

CCheefLack of basic toiletries like single use toothbrush set. Took 30 mins on the Hoppa bus from Terminal 3 to the hotel despite the apparent short direct distance from the airport, the hotel is practically the last stop on the route. Ok for overnight stay on a stopover.
NNJJ85Great location, bus stop right outside for quick and efficient buses to and from airport. Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. Nice bar for a few drinks and food and also a great gym. Would definitely stay again.
AAuliaMy recent stay at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel left me thoroughly impressed with its seamless blend of convenience and comfort. The service at Sheraton Heathrow was impeccable. As for the facilities, the hotel offered everything I could have needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities that made me feel right at home. Overall, my experience at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in the area.
GGuest UserThis is the second time I’ve stayed at the Radisson Red in the past month due to flying from Heathrow. It is also the second time that checking in was chaotic, with the self check in computers not working and this not being resolved with increased or quicker staff. Moreover, the staff have a habit of not making eye contact with you, not acknowledging you, not really managing the chaos or reassuring properly. In the end, I waited in a queue for around half an hour to check in. People are naturally tired when they get to an airport hotel- the staff need to show some awareness of that. Then in the morning, I asked when the next shuttle to heathrow was and was informed, 2 minutes. I waited for 25 minutes and no bus. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and was told ‘it’s heathrow that run the bus, not us.’ It was yet more unhelpful at tidied and an unwillingness to be at all accountable.
YYedam HAThe location is good because it's close to the station, but the shower leaks and I think it's disappointing in terms of service and friendly attitude.
