We were pleasantly surprised again and again with them. First the airport pickup, Mr Rahman Hakim was very helpful with our luggages and communicated with us about where to meet up. The check in process was smooth with friendly front desk staff. We loved the simple yet very functional luggage storage, clean rooms, and comfy beds. Hot shower with good water pressure and quality toiletries are provided. They also have a small but well equipped gym and swimming pool (which we didn’t have time to use). The buffet breakfast was quite a spread, consisting of fruits, breads, rice, noodles, cereals, etc. They also have a coffee machine for americano and espresso, and some local tea and “jamu” drinks. We must mention that the staff there were very helpful despite most of them not being able to converse in English. My wife saw the noodle soup counter being set up and asked how can we assemble our own bakso. The staff there couldn’t understand but smiled, and few minutes later served us a hot bowl of bakso, which looked and tasted better than if we assembled it ourselves! What this hotel provided has exceeded our expectations! Would definitely stay there again.
Having said all that, there are some minor things which we think can be improved:
1. The spa. We enjoyed the massage very much, but we felt some information can be revised to avoid misunderstanding: There is a Body Scrub Massage package for 200,000, but after asking the staff they said it’s just scrub with some stretching, no massage included.
2. Cafeteria. The rice porridge and soup were cold. Probably the soup warmer wasn’t working or was not turned on
