Steps Farmhouse

Good located for visiting the area, lovely clean comfortable room with lots of well thought out extras. Very good value, especially as the breakfasts were generous and nicely cooked by the friendly host Paul. A calm quiet place with lovely gardens, we were so pleased to have found them. Will definitely return one day.

This place is amazing. We never actually got to stay there, but we definitely will in future. We had a one night stay booked, but we broke down on the way there and had to be towed home. They couldn't have been nicer and waived the cancellation fee. Highly recommended.

What a find - fantastic B&B ! What a find ! Gorgeous 16th Century Farmhouse B&B. Fantastic that the wonderful hosts Sharon & Paul are fully dog-friendly - as I was on a solo short break with our younger dog, we were both made welcome. Lovely clean, nicely decorated spacious room. Bonus of a fridge with water & a small glass bottle of proper milk ie not sachets etc, to go with the well stocked courtesy tray. Lots of little touches, like various "I've forgotten" items, wine glasses, glass tumblers & corkscrew ... even a hair "turban" for use after washing your hair ! Nice shared outside seating area dor use by my & neighbouring room. Whilst we didn't make use of it, the communal garden had garden furniture, as well as seating inside the summerhouse. which also had an honesty bar .. lovely idea. Breakfasta were superb, great choice of cereals, fresh fruit, dishes of fruut, greek + fruit yoghurt, mini pastries. Plus cooked breakfast - vegetarians catered for. Friendly, welcoming hosts who happily offered suggestions of places to go, where to go for dinner. Only downside is I didn't stay longer !

Stayed with Steps to celebrate a family birthday. Paul and Sharon were very welcoming and hospitable. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast a real treat. Local to both Minehead and Dunster - just a short drive away. Would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!

We stayed here just for one night as an impromptu visit to celebrate my birthday and what a wonderful place to stay. Paul and Sharon are amazing hosts and make you feel like friends . The gorgeous garden with the "bar", a lovely comfortable room , and an amazing breakfast with a croissant birthday 'cake' all made for a special visit.
