This motel is not child friendly in any way, and you should not stay if you have any health issues. The two motels room we booked were covered in mold and rust, we stayed one night and unfortunately the mold made it so I could not breathe due to my asthma, and my child’s asthma so we had to cut our trip short .The shower head was covered in mold and We couldn’t use the air conditioners due to them being covered in black mold as well. When I reached out to ******* to get a refund do to having to leave because of the mold and rust I was told the property management denied it. I will be contacting the board of health in the area along with disputing with my credit card company since I have many pictures and videos for proof of the unsanitary conditions. I wasn’t going to even write a review or make a problem, I just wanted a refund to not being able to stay because of health issues caused by the mold. EDIT TO ADD: (The only way to edit my review was to delete it and resubmit it) The owners like to lie about why we left the motel early, they told ******* I left early due to cloudy weather when I requested a refund, however when they replied to my review on here they stated it was because my children were “out of control” when they most definitely were not. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BOOK WITH, owner will try to make you look bad when you post honest reviews!!!! I will be attaching the mold pictures as well as the owners reply to my original review and there excuse to *******. We took a trip back to RI couple weeks later thru air bnb and had a delightful time. If we were just trying to get a free trip we would of taken them up on there offer for a free night when we came back. Please ask yourself what kind of person lies about other peoples children. DISTURBING.

!!!BEWARE OF BLACK MOLD!!! also beware of rusty nails sticking out of the walls. The owners will also lie to the travel insurance you purchased about the reason you left early telling them you left due to cloudy weather which is FALSE(never spoke to any owner or any worker about the weather) , the real reason we left is due to my wife and one of my children having asthma and the black mold making it hard for them to breath, making it so we will not get a refund. We will continue to make reviews and social media posts to warn others of the nasty motel, and hopefully the owners will do what’s right and process our refund for at least the night we left early.

Owner was very nice and attentive to our needs with anything else we needed. Quiet backyard with grill picnic tables and kayaks for use on salt pond. Rooms are a little tight, but for 4 people suggest going to beach ball inn across the street there sister property. Alot more room in there 2 bedrooms.

I have stayed at both Sea Shell and now Sea Spray Inn. I was very pleased both times. The Sea Spray Inn is a 2 min drive down the road from the Sea Shell, but.....you are allowed to park at the Sea Shell when you want to come to town for food or the beach so you only have a short 2 min walk! The walk from Sea Spray would be about 15 mins so it is a super nice feature to be able to drive and park at the main hotel. I stayed in Apartment A . It's a studio apartment basically. It had a deck with table chairs, living room with couch, small cafe table and tv (also a closet) full kitchen with full refridgerator, stove, cupboards, sink. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker. There are a few dishes. I would bring some paper plates. Other than that you're good, they even have a can opener and wine bottle opener. The bedroom has a queen size bed which I found to be comfortable. There is air conditioner in the bedroom which was ample enough to keep the whole place cool Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room area. The bathroom is your standard bathroom with sink, toilet and stand up shower. The whole place was VERY clean. Very beachy vibes/quaint. There is a yard with a picnic table and grill. I will definitely stay at both the Sea Shell motel and their sister property the Sea Spray Inn again! P.S. Go to dinner at Gino's on the corner from SeaShell, you won't be disapointed! Delish!

I can’t because this place is still open and hasn’t been shut down. It’s not up to code at all, God forbid there was ever a fire, no safety precautions are explained or enforced by the staff. IF you can find the staff that is, not very knowledgeable, felt like I was bothering when asked a question. It’s not cheap at all
