We loved the new rooms in the cart house. We’ve stayed in the other rooms in the main building too but the new rooms are the best :-)

Excellent roast dinner with warm and friendly staff. We had pork and turkey and there was plenty of it!! Roasts and Yorkshires were tasty with a jug of gravy each on the side. Have eaten here previously and although it was good before I would say it’s much improved. Will definitely be back

We booked a table for 17 of us for our work Christmas meal and we were not disappointed! The roast turkey was done to perfection and the puddings were delicious, such great value for money. Service was faultless too 😍

Lovely new room but surfaces need glass on as they will be ruined quite quickly with people’s glasses and hot tea! The fire alarm woke us up at 12.45 pm so maybe stress No smoking in rooms as I didn’t see any!!! Staff amazing and friendly

The worst Sunday lunch we have ever had, It looked like a cheapfrozen meal. 3 thin slices off a cheap roll of pork. Vegetables were inedible. Apple sauce looked like baby food in a jar. All piled up

We had a lovely large room and bathroom at the property and the meal we booked for the evening was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were pleased that they happened to have a band playing the night we stayed.

Convenient if you're visiting the distillery and need a place to stay the night. Staff are friendly and food was decent. Special shoutout to Talya who went above and beyond for us! There is a car park round back but spaces are limited so there's a good chance you'll end up parking on the street, which may mean a bit of a walk from the car.

Great location in the village, our particular room could do with a little TLC and clean but nothing too serious. Not too happy with the saniflow toilet but this is an old property so restricted pipeline might be the issue. Great helpful staff . Breakfast was great and the evening meal was very nice as well. Great bar area and also nice space outside . Limited car park but one just a few minutes walk away. Historical building so expect squeaky floors and doors , roads can be busy at times so ear plugs recommended.

Have used this inn a few times in the past but the fabric of the interior is now looking very tired. The staff are quite friendly and helpful but they are being let down by the brewery. The pub was always a quiet place for a meal and a drink in the evening but the theme has now been altered to noisy with a preference for younger revellers.
