Waterfall Paradise My wife & I came to Dawn’s house on the creek to enjoy several days of waterfall hiking. Everything about the house and interactions with the hostess were perfect. The house is clean, roomy, comfortable and stocked with many little extras that we felt were very considerate on the part of the hostess. The front & back porches are great for sitting, sipping and just enjoying the outside air and views of nature(large trees, huge front yard, animals, birds, and the beautiful cold and crystal clear creek, including the two small waterfalls up stream on the property. The house is the perfect location if you’re considering going on waterfall hikes. Many waterfalls 15-20 minutes away and so many more 30-45 minutes. Travel is super easy getting around and very little traffic. This area is one of the most beautiful and unique places in this country with the gorgeous gorges and abundant waterfalls, so many great swimming holes and beautiful friendly people all over.

Fantastic A wonderful place to stay, central to all the parks, and a short drive to the distilleries. A fully stocked kitchen. Clean, bright. Plenty of pillows, extra blankets, towels and wash cloths. Great porch overlooking a stream to have morning coffee or nighttime drinks. We all agreed we would definitely go back. The hostess is easy to contact and very responsive.

Peacefully Private We picked this property because of the location and what we wanted to do while we were there. We were close to all the State Parks and waterfalls we visited. It was a clean, comfortable and accommodating. We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch for morning coffee and again for evening beverages. Such a peaceful and private setting that made our vacation a true getaway. Communications with Dawn before and during our stay was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Peaceful getaway This property provided a peaceful respite. Loved sitting on the back porch listening to the birds and babbling water. Even enjoyed an evening of rain. Inside wasn’t bad either. Will definitely be back if/when in the area.

We were in the area for the natural beauty Dawn's propert wa ssituatedat the top of a small slope, adjacent to the floodplain trees and overlooking beautiful Cherry Creek. A pastoral ambiance of lightly used hay fields along the entrance drive really provided a wonderful introduction. The porches, front and back, with rocking chairs and couches, made a wonderful plqce to have coffee or evening beverage and truly relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay spending time with more than 33 species of birds, river otter, woodchucks and beaver. The facilities were more than we could have hoped for. Thanks, Dawn, for providing such a great place for out Tennesse time!

Stay by the Creek Wife and I stayed for a few days by the creek. Enjoyed the stream and seeing the wild Turkeys. House was charming and everything worked as it should. Talked to the lady renting the place several times and she could have not been more accommodating. Hope to stay there again.

Chasing waterfalls We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet location that is close to many state parks with some of the most beautiful waterfalls. Communication was great. My husband and I are already talking about a return trip.

Cozy and quiet I came here with a friend for a week to enjoy all the local parks and waterfalls, and this was a wonderful home base. The house is well kept, plenty of amenities, and Dawn was very helpful and kind. The property is fairly quiet, and the back porch is great for enjoying the evenings. There is also a fire pit with wood provided. The area around the creek was a bit overgrown (and don't even try to get to the waterfall unless you aren't allergic to poison ivy and don't mind getting wet...I tried), but it is still nice to see from up on the porch. The only downside I would give is that the 2nd bathroom is quite small, and the toilet is way too close to the sink, but overall, it did not affect our enjoyment of the trip. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to escape. Thanks again to the owner for all the useful information!
