The best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. From the enormous appartment type room, the amazing hosts, the friendly welcome and the great breakfast. Everthing was perfect, every facility and attention to detail had been thought of and perfected. A truly wonderful experience for any guest.

Gerald and JD are fabulous hosts and their attention to detail is amazing. I thoroughly recommend staying with them - their establishment will not disappoint and its location in Wilderness could not be better. On a quiet road within walking distance of the local shops and restaurants.

We had the most amazing suite facing the lagoon. The views were incredible and the room was spotless with a beautiful huge ensuite. Gerald and JD were such lovely hosts - they couldn't do enough for us and were so helpful abd knowledgeable. Wilderness Manor is a special place and I would highly recommend it.

Excellent guesthouse, very stylish and very clean. Gorgeous breakfast with outstanding fruit salad! Best hosts ( Gerald and JD) we ever had in Wilderness AND in South Africa! They really take care of their guests and provided us with a lot of information. We will definitely come back!

We have been staying with Gerald and JD every year for over ten years on our annual road trip in The Western Cape. We love it all…the room is wonderful overlooking the lagoon. It’s spacious, has a large comfortable bed and a large bathroom with all the amenities you could want. Breakfast is superb beautifully cooked. Most of all is the wonderful hospitality that Gerald and JD give and their professional and friendship. They go above and beyond with their kindness . Thank you and we look forward to our stay next year.

Myself and my partner had a fantastic stay with Gerald and JD at Wilderness Manor Guest House. The room was very spacious with amazing views overlooking the ocean and mountains and the entire guest house was spotlessly clean with a very homely vibe. The hosts provided us with tonnes of information on local amenities and restaurants and really went above and beyond in the service that they provided. We also got a really tasty breakfast each morning made with really fresh ingredients. The guest house itself is also a handy 15min walk from the local shops and restaurants which is very convenient. We would highly recommend this guest house to anyone!

It was Fab from the moment Gerald invited us in …it was immaculate and the suite we had was beautiful ..a fabulous bathroom..a large bedroom king size bed …a separate sitting area beautifully furnished leading to a balcony overlooking the lagoon…The substantial breakfast cooked by JD was wonderful .. I could not fault the Manor or hosting .they were so professional and friendly ..passing onto us as much info that we needed. for visiting the area …

Gerald and JD are the lovely hosts, our 2nd time staying with them and definitely will be returning! They go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable, relaxed and have everything you need. As well as providing information and recommendations for things places to go, do & eat. Well worth a stay with them.

We were allowed to stay 2 nights in this great house and therefore also enjoyed two exceptionally wonderful breakfasts. Gerald and JD are two excellent hosts and gave us great tips for things to do. Our room was large, the bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom with shower and bath left nothing to be desired. There is a lot of attention to detail and professionalism everywhere. The furnishings in the communal areas of the Manor were also fantastic. The location is within walking distance of several good restaurants and right on the river. The beach is also not far away. We felt at home right from the start and can highly recommend the Wilderness Manor. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience.
