We were here for lunch on a Saturday in the 2star Restaurant. Everything from the multiple mause-bouches up to the Sweet that were served with coffee was extremely well prekäres and extremely refined in taste, not only simply delicious. The staff was very attentive yet unnoticeable. The Chef came to prepare one of the appetizers at our table. There was Not a single critical comment in our entire party of six

My wife and I stayed at the chateau for a night on our way to Luxembourg. From the time of our arrival to our departure we had a wonderful experience. The staff were courteous, professional and made sure we had everything we needed. The room and bed were comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. We had dinner at the restaurant and breakfast before we left in the morning. The evening meal was a gastronomic gala, every course was perfection. Breakfast was a feast, way too much but plenty of choice. Can’t wait to go back, but next time will be at least a two nights stay.

Een mooi kasteel in een landelijk dorp.. Mooie kamers met al op en aan.. Echt een kasteel om je een kasteelinwoner te voelen.. We bleven ook eten in het restaurant, een mooie ervaring.. Heerlijke gerechten.. In hotel goede wifi, gratis parking.. kortom een leuk verblijf met een leuk restaurant..

Wir waren anlässlich unserer Hochzeitstages im Chateau Wittem. Wir hatten das Mid-Week-Special gebucht. Das Restaurant war sehr gut. Das Hotel eigentlich auch. Aber so richtig wohlgefühlt haben wir uns insgesamt nicht. Es fehlte insgesamt etwas. Liebe zum Detail. Persönlichkeit. Herzlichkeit. Jemand, der Gastgeber ist. Man kann einige Punkte aufzählen, aber letztendlich ist es die Summe der vermeintlichen Kleinigkeiten. Im Zimmer gibt es zwar große Schränke. Jedoch keinen Platz, um den Koffer aufzumachen. Es gibt eine Hotel-Bar, aber das rauschende und vom Wasser abgesehen leere Aquarium sorgt für eine ungemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück ist ziemlich teuer. Aber es gibt weder frischen Orangensaft, noch wirklich einen Obstsalat oder ein Müsli. Die auf der Etagere servierte Wurst und der Käse sind zu früh und ohne Kühlung darauf drapiert worden und daher schon recht unansehnlich. Insgesamt hätten wir uns mehr versprochen. Schade. Im Sommer, wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzen und den parkähnlichen Garten genießen kann, ist es vielleicht noch einmal etwas anderes.

Deze week een nacht in kamer Alexander in Chateau Wittem gelogeerd. Erg aardige ontvangst door de butler en naar de kamer gebracht. Gelukkig werden we geholpen met de koffers, want er is geen lift. De kamer is keurig ingericht en heeft een minibar met enkele drankjes en wat snacks die gratis zijn. Niet te grote badkamer waarbij het douchewater makkelijk de ruimte inloopt omdat er geeen goede afscheiding is. Dus badmat ervoor leggen. Na terugkomst van het diner buiten de deur was er niemand meer om voor ons nog een drankje te verzorgen. Dat was jammer. Wij hebben het vervoer naar het restaurant in de buurt aangeboden gekregen van het hotel hetgeen erg vriendelijk was. Het ontbijt was keurig verzorgd. Misschien als extra aanbeveling om toch nog één extra eenpersoonsdekbed aan te schaffen zodat gasten niet onder dubbelgevouwen dekbed hoeven te slapen. Dat kan ècht niet.

De keuken levert op heel mooi niveau. De hospitality blijkt vooral empathisch, vriendelijk en bescheiden over de eigen prestaties. Je voelt je nadrukkelijk welkom en bijzonder. Niet zij, maar jij bent bijzonder. Dat noem ik kwaliteit in dit vak. De sommelier heeft bijzondere keuzes gemaakt, zijn ‘stand-in’ voor de zondag onderschrijft dat en vult gepast de informatie aan.

Op 1ste Paasdag bij restaurant La Cuisine in Château Wittem geluncht voor mijn verjaardag. Wij zijn ontzettend in de watten gelegd en het eten was voortreffelijk. De bediening was zeer attent en kundig. De bijpassende dranken (alcoholisch en non-alcoholisch) paste goed bij de gerechten. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker terug!

Ein traumhaftes Hotel in einem alten und vollständig renovierten Château. Exzellente 2-Sterne Küche mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Geführt von Victoria Wilden und eingerichtet von Sven Woytschaetzky. Im Sommer kann man umringt von einer schönen Garten und einem Wasserschloss ähnlichen Ambiente auf einer wunderschönen Terrasse essen.
