Silkari Urban CKS Sydney Airport Hotel

The staff were friendly. However, I was very unhappy with the breakfast. For a room that supposedly includes breakfast, you have to pay an extra 15 local currency per person just to get scrambled eggs and bacon – the kind of simple buffet breakfast items you'd expect to be included in other countries, not hot food from an à la carte menu. This practice is really strange. They might as well just state that breakfast is not included but free juice, milk, cereal, and fruit are provided; that would actually make a better impression. There are restaurants within a 10-minute walk from the hotel at the subway station, and for 15 local currency per person, you could get a much better meal there. The hotel has paid parking.

The room was decent, and the hotel is close to the airport, but there's still construction around. It's a shame the airport shuttle isn't free; it's even more expensive than an Uber.
