After hours checkin didn’t work so was not able to stay: there was a sign to use the phone next to the reception door for AH issues, but wasn’t connected to anything so I ended up wandering the streets of Bundaberg because I had no where to stay

Although, there was a late check-in but the arrangement that was extended towards me by the motel authority was excellent. Bed Room and Washroom both were very clean.
I liked the concept of sealed glass/mug wrapped in a paper bag.

The only thing is would say is a dower is that the foxtel service is full of sport there should be movie channels not just sport.

A perfect example of the classic Aussie motel. Clean, comfortable and friendly service. Nice space in the main living area and a bathroom with room to move and good towels. I have a preference for traditional soap bars, so if you're not a fan of dispensers, pack or grab your favourite soap ahead of time. Otherwise, the fresh milk, Twinnings tea and Bundaberg sugar are great for a nice cuppa and beautifully accompanied by the classic Arnotts bikkies in the individual plastic wrap. Good size TV in the room and internet connection worked more than well enough for me. There's a few take away food options nearby and the brew at Pacific Coffee is actually very good. More diverse eating options are a longer walk or short drive away, but at this time of year was very pleasant.

Spotless motel with kind and helpful staff. Simple room but very comfortable, with parking right outside your door.
