We used DMH for my daughters 18th birthday party and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better service. We hired the Riverhead suite which is on the first floor and is beautiful with period features and has its own private bar and toilets (which were all clean!). It is not the cheapest of venues but I think comparatively it is well priced for the aesthetics, facilities and the space. Rebecca, the events manager, was excellent right from the off answering my initial enquiries quickly and helping to provide me with all the quotes for options available, including with or without catering. We used the DJ recommended by the hotel and we also hired the inbuilt photobooth (which is brilliant FYI!). We opted for a dry hire without catering, but used food from the bar menu to make a buffet on the night and it was all lovely. The pizzas were good, all the food was hot and served at the time I had requested. The team on the night were excellent, they attended to our needs and kept checking in without it feeling overbearing. The bar was well stocked and everyone commented on how nice the venue itself is, my mum stayed overnight in one of the rooms and said it was a comfortable stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend/ use DMH again for a special event.

Wow Beautiful hotel we loved it here. We stayed here for 2 nights for my Niece’s wedding, my Dad, my partner and myself. The rooms were fabulous, so clean. Your staff Saraa, Yassin, Dhimant and Deep were fantastic so helpful and polite, plus your reception staff. Ian and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

This was a lovely stay. Great staff. The room was good and the food very good. The one thing I would warn people about is there is a sign on the door saying 'If you are staying with us for more than one night and would like to reduce the environmental impact you can skip housekeepimg and get 5 or 10 pound sif staying a min 2 nights. When it comes to it a 2 night stay they say it has to be a 2 day clean free. Not what it says on the door hanger. Be careful, it is misleading.

Very good looking hotel, with good amenities. I arrived and managed to get checked in a little earlier than anticipated. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel. The car parking was very good and was included in the price. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Nearly all the elements I expect from a hotel were absolutely fine. Special mention for the very friendly and helpful staff. Also an evening meal in the bar was excellent and very fairly priced. The only problem that I mentioned to reception was that the wi-fi signal in my room was weak and a bit hit and miss. It was adequate for a couple of emails, but if I was staying again and had work to do, I would like to be reassured about the wi-fi in my allocated room.

Irish lady at breakfast is five star. She was helpful and alot of common sense. Like location and rooms . Food in the bar area is very average and staff excellent. Ordered crab cakes and steak which was very average. Definitely eat out . I will come back but not eat here .
