The location is excellent, and the room was spacious enough. It's an older five-star hotel; the breakfast was standard, but the room amenities felt a bit dated. However, the service was quite good, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The room was exceptionally spacious, featuring two double beds (1.4m wide), and every room came with a bathtub. We were even fortunate enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade due to low occupancy that day. Both the front desk and concierge services were outstanding. Our room offered an expansive view through its two windows. While the food at the Wanlixuan Restaurant on the 2nd floor was merely average, the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality, truly reaching a superior standard.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby. I heard it's a long-established hotel. While the rooms aren't huge, the facilities are well-maintained. I really appreciated the mouthwash provided (a nice touch!), and the lotion came in convenient small bottles. Housekeeping staff proactively offered turndown service. The highlight was definitely the lounge. The afternoon tea was superb, with small cakes constantly replenished, and the chocolate brownies were particularly delicious. The "Wild Boar Hour" (presumably their evening cocktail/happy hour) was also fantastic, offering a noodle station and individual hot dishes (like Tom Yum Goong seafood soup that day). A staff member named James was exceptionally enthusiastic and actively gave guests recommendations for local sights. Similarly, at breakfast, a gentleman named Bob was equally attentive and personable, making guests feel truly valued. My only minor issue was that when I called the main switchboard shortly after booking, one of the operators sounded a bit impatient, which slightly tarnished my initial impression of the hotel.

My overall stay was very pleasant. While the hotel is a bit older, the service was absolutely outstanding. From the proactive contact to confirm our needs before check-in, to the follow-up after we checked out, every staff member I encountered – from the front desk to housekeeping – demonstrated an excellent service mindset. It was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. The Chinese restaurant, Wanlixuan, on the second floor was also very good.

As a truly discerning customer, I was completely won over this time. The hotel's service far exceeded my expectations. Their responsiveness was incredibly fast, and the service quality was absolutely top-notch – simply impeccable!

A fantastic five-star hotel with excellent facilities. The swimming pool, in particular, is a highlight, complete with a sauna – perfect for unwinding and relaxing after a long day. The surrounding area is packed with great dining choices, especially if you're a fan of crayfish. Highly recommended!

Excellent! This is my go-to hotel every time I'm here for a business trip. The breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The price is also very reasonable. Both the front desk and room service were excellent; much appreciated! I'll definitely be back often.

The hotel is located in the heart of Wuhan, surrounded by a lively and bustling area. There are plenty of shopping malls within easy reach, and it's also conveniently close to various attractions. The rooms are spacious, and both the cleanliness and facilities are excellent. Highly recommended.

The room is so hot, I called the receptionist, been told that it is centralised. Unable to adjust the temperature! Bathroom is a bit tatty and less of toiletries. The room is dusty especially the stand to put on the luggage. It is so filthy!

I'm a big fan of this hotel, even though it's been around for a while. What I particularly like is that there's no unpleasant 'new building' smell, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff's service attitude was also exceptionally professional and friendly. On a side note, the restaurant on the 2nd floor is excellent and definitely worth checking out. You can conveniently dine and stay right here, so there's no need to venture out.

It is with great regret that I must give this stay the lowest possible rating. For a 'luxury' hotel, both the amenities and service experience fell far short of the expected standard, which was extremely disappointing. 1. **Outdated and Poorly Maintained Facilities:** The hotel's facilities as a whole, especially the rooms, appeared very old and poorly maintained, completely lacking any sense of modernity or comfort. 2. **Extremely Poor Shower Experience:** The shower cubicle was incredibly cramped, making it difficult to even turn around, resulting in a very oppressive and confined feeling. The showerhead had extremely low water pressure, delivering a weak, trickling stream that turned showering into a time-consuming and arduous task. **Faulty Hairdryer:** The hairdryer provided in the room had serious issues; there was a noticeable air leak near the handle, causing hot air to disperse everywhere, rendering it completely unusable. 3. **Appalling Pool Hygiene:** The hotel swimming pool's water was murky and visibly unclean. It completely put me off going in, and the hygiene conditions were frankly alarming. 4. **Disgusting Changing Room Environment:** The lockers in the pool changing room emitted an unbearable mildewy and foul odor, severely impacting the user experience and raising serious doubts about the hotel's cleanliness standards. Overall, this entire stay was utterly dreadful. From the basic in-room facilities (shower, hairdryer) to the public areas (pool, changing rooms), everything revealed serious issues of aging hardware, lack of maintenance, and poor hygiene management. This does not justify the hotel's price tag at all. I strongly urge the hotel management to address these issues, undertake a thorough renovation and overhaul, and significantly improve hygiene; otherwise, it truly fails to live up to its 'luxury' designation. I will not be considering staying here again in the short term, nor would I recommend it to travelers seeking a high-quality experience.

The hotel is a bit dated, but the location is decent. The front desk agent (a woman wearing glasses) clearly showed bias in her service. Out of our group of three, she upgraded the other two guests but refused to upgrade me, despite us all paying the same rate. I found this baffling, as I had done nothing to warrant such differential treatment. When I asked her about it on the spot, she offered no explanation. This kind of prejudiced service certainly warrants a poor rating.
