Excellent value for money! Our river view room boasted a breathtaking, panoramic view that truly stretched as far as the eye could see. As an IHG member, I was upgraded by the front desk to a balcony room. The real highlight, in terms of value, was that despite booking the Holiday Inn, guests get full access to the InterContinental's amenities, like the pool and breakfast. The photos of the lobby and breakfast area speak for themselves!

The facilities and environment were decent, but the cleanliness and service were truly concerning. The trash can under the sink hadn't been emptied and contained cigarette butts. During check-in, the staff member didn't collect the room fee. I didn't notice, assuming it would be paid automatically upon check-out. Shortly after I got to the room, the front desk called, stating they'd forgotten to charge me and needed to come up to collect the payment. I had diarrhea and ordered medicine and electrolyte water via a delivery app. While I understand and agree that delivery personnel cannot bring items directly to the room for privacy and security reasons, it was quite disappointing that there was no robot or staff service to deliver them to the room, requiring guests to go down to the lobby entrance to pick them up themselves. Is this how the hotel's 'home away from home' and 'humanistic care' culture manifests itself – by inconveniencing guests? When I went downstairs to inquire at the front desk about robot or room delivery services for my order, the staff didn't even look up, dismissing me with a curt 'no.' This shows a lack of proper work attitude during business hours. However, the two front desk colleagues seemed very close. When I was taking photos to prepare for a complaint to Ctrip, they were busy hugging and chatting, yet they still managed to spare a glance my way – perhaps my phone camera was more interesting than I was. Additionally, the conditioner bottle was almost empty, with only a tiny bit at the bottom that I couldn't even pump out.
