DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu

I was back in my hometown from Beijing to visit relatives, so I chose a hotel conveniently located near their place. DoubleTree by Hilton is always my go-to hotel. I was assisted by Lyra, my dedicated concierge, and her service was truly outstanding. She proactively informed me about nearby road construction and offered many excellent recommendations for local sightseeing and dining.

Lyra from the hotel staff provided excellent service. The hotel lobby is quite spacious and comfortable, and the room offered a fantastic view. All the staff were very courteous. The location is great for exploring by car. Despite some recent road construction nearby, I must have slept really well as I didn't hear any noise whatsoever. The complimentary cookies from the hotel were delicious! I wish there was a QR code in the room to scan and buy them directly.

I pre-booked a package online, and it offered great value for money. Manager Lyra provided excellent service and arranged a wonderful room for me. Unable to sleep that night, I had my computer compose a poem: **A Night at the Hilton Wuhu** From a lofty perch, the river's light I claim, Pillow by its waves, where night knows no end. The lamps on banks afar, a galaxy they spin, Through my window, wind and dew invite new verse within. An earnest server brings a fresh pot of tea, In the elegant hall, soft fragrances flow free. Like one from earthly bounds released, I stand, Leaning on the rail, the moon spans the river, grand.

The river view room offered fantastic views, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even proactively warned me about nearby municipal road construction that might lead to nighttime noise and offered to cancel my reservation. However, my actual experience was noise from downstairs KTV singing until midnight, which was quite disruptive. The municipal works did start drilling early in the mornings, but thankfully my schedule meant I was usually out before it became an issue. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, featuring many local Wuhu specialties such as Zharou, fermented glutinous rice with red beans, and shrimp noodles. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating, and there was certainly plenty of food. I would absolutely choose this place again for my next business trip.

I booked the room last minute on an online platform, and Front Office Manager Lyra provided excellent service. Stepping into the room, everything from the lighting and the firmness of the bedding to the notepad thoughtfully placed on the desk felt perfectly tailored, as if custom-made. The most delightful surprise was the complimentary welcome fruit platter, where even the fruit fork was subtly arranged at my preferred angle. It became clear that 'home away from home' isn't just a slogan here; it's manifest in those seemingly 'extra' gestures meticulously woven into every detail. This journey, thanks to the warmth of feeling truly cared for, brought countless small, cherished moments of happiness. A heartfelt thank you to every team member at Hilton DoubleTree; their impeccable attention to detail crafted a story more compelling than any scenic view.
