Rezen Dong Hotel (Wuxi Taihu Yuantouzhu Scenic Area Binhu MixC Mall)

This hotel wasn't overly overpriced during the Chinese New Year, which was a plus. I booked it in advance and it was decent. It's very close to Yuantouzhu, and during cherry blossom season, there are even shuttle buses from the subway station, so you can just walk there. The location is excellent. We drove, and parking spaces were a bit limited. The bedding was very good.

My stay here was full of pleasant surprises. The hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a family room free of charge. The new room was incredibly spacious, clean, and cozy. We also had a dedicated butler during our stay who had already prepared slippers, toothbrushes, and snacks for the kids even before we arrived, handing them to us directly upon check-in. What's even better is that when you need items like a razor, the delivery robot quickly brings it right to your door – it's smart and convenient. The breakfast was quite abundant, and the hotel's scent was lovely. The only minor drawback was that the shower head holder in the bathroom was a bit loose, making it difficult to keep it steady, so I had to hold it by hand while showering. If that small issue could be fixed, the experience would be absolutely perfect.

First, the pros: The room was great, and the large TV was a nice touch. I really appreciated the separate shower and toilet, and the hot water was consistently piping hot, which is a big deal for me. The location is quite convenient; head east from the hotel and you'll find a street with lots of food options and Cha Yan Yue Se (a popular tea shop). Downstairs, there's a pharmacy and a convenience store. Now for the cons: The price was a bit on the higher side, so the value for money wasn't exceptional. The breakfast selection was a bit lacking, and a small gripe was that there was bread but no butter. The taste also could have been better.

The hygiene was excellent, and the hotel offered great value for money. The hotel environment was elegant, and the rooms had expansive views. The facilities were very smart; the toilet and curtains were automatic, making for a very pleasant stay. The room was well-soundproofed, the facilities were new, and the overall experience was perfect. I would definitely stay here again next time.

I stayed here because there was a concert at the Wuxi Sports Center. It was just under a 30-minute drive from Wuxi Station. When I arrived, I was greeted with a hot drink at the front desk, which was a relief. The room was clean and spacious, and delivery was made by a robot, so I had no trouble. It's located in a quiet residential area, so the environment was tranquil. It's also within walking distance of Wanxianghui, making it a great place for shopping and strolling. I always have express delivery delivered to the hotel in advance, and when the male staff member noticed I had several boxes, he handed me a bag to take them home, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely use this service again when I'm in Wuxi! By the way, it took about 10 minutes from the ticket gate to the online reservation bus stop at Wuxi Station, so it was quite a walk. In this regard, it's best to allow yourself plenty of time.
