First off, the hotel staff proactively asked about my check-in preferences before I even arrived, which made a great first impression and built up my expectations. The check-in process itself was decent, but after that, things went downhill quickly...
I specifically requested a quiet room, yet the soundproofing was absolutely terrible! My neighbors on both sides were chatting loudly past 11 PM, and frankly, I had no interest in their 'Wahaha' (a popular Chinese beverage brand) discussions!
I was woken up by my neighbor's alarm in the morning, and I could clearly hear them turning on lights and getting ready in the bathroom – sleep was completely out of the question.
I ordered some takeout and asked the front desk to have the robot deliver it to my room, but they said they were too busy and told me to go downstairs and pick it up myself.
They advertised complimentary mini-bar snacks and drinks, but what I got was just some tea from the lobby and a small bag of chips.
