GGuest UserWhile riding the cable car, I heard tourists next to me exclaiming, ”What beautiful Hui-style architecture!” Looking up, you can see the undulating white walls and green tiles, with a simple and elegant background. As the cable car goes up, there is a rapeseed terrace field under your feet. It’s a pity that without the filter of sunlight and the color of the season, there are fewer bright colors. However, no matter when you come here, you can see colorful crops drying on the roofs. The color of the crops drying in the autumn is probably their unique skin color.
Some people say that entering Huangling is like entering a game world. In the square at the entrance of the village, tourists used existing props to hold a general meeting of all members of the Huangling Brigade in an orderly manner. ”Dear villagers, we are gathered together today...” ”Little comrade, please be serious. Take your ice cream and sit down!” There was laughter everywhere. Along the stone road, you can meet the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of making straw raincoats. Seeing the straw raincoat, one can't help but think of the line ”A green bamboo hat, a green straw raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle.” The straw raincoat, an ancient garment for wearing in the rain, is not as pretty and light as an oil-paper umbrella, but it carries the rich history of agricultural civilization. It contrasts with the surrounding mountains and terraces, forming a peaceful and beautiful pastoral picture. Along the way, there are free and casual tie-dye works, golden and crispy Huangling oil cakes, soft, glutinous and sweet handmade glutinous rice cakes, and NPC grandparents who feed you enthusiastically.
I like the human touch here. From Jingdezhen to Huangling, I met very nice people along the way. The driver who came like a timely rain when we were catching the high-speed train; the passers-by who enthusiastically guided us to pick up our stored luggage at the exit; the passenger who picked up our ID cards and the lovely steward. Let me end with a quote from the B&B sister: “You are very good people, so the people you meet are also very good.” Kind people make Jingdezhen and Huangling warmer, and allow everyone who comes here to find their own warmth and touch.

From the moment we got off the bus, the boss gave us a warm welcome, helped us with our luggage, planned our itinerary, and even prepared snacks. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the response to problems is very fast. Thumbs up for the boss's service. The room is clean and fresh, and the location is close to the entrance of the scenic area, which is very nice. The price/performance ratio is quite high. GGuest UserThis is a fantastic place, right in the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. At night, you can enjoy the night view, and during the day, you can stroll through the ancient landscape, with small bridges and flowing water right before your eyes. The atmosphere is truly captivating! It's also incredibly close to surrounding attractions: Wunu Island is about 10 minutes away, Moon Bay is just five or six minutes, Jiangwan is about 15 minutes, and Huangling is just around 20 minutes, making it quick and easy to get to wherever you need to go. The overall environment is exceptional, the facilities are all new, and the stay is incredibly comfortable. Rapeseed flowers bloom outside the window. You can tell the owner is a dedicated owner; the rooms are immaculately clean and the decor is warm and elegant. The food is absolutely amazing! It uses local ingredients, cooked to perfection, and every bite is satisfying. The owner is friendly and attentive, providing a thoughtful shuttle service. From check-in to check-out, it makes you feel right at home.
This B&B made my trip even more perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuyuan!

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

The location of the hotel is simply excellent, not only surrounded by mountains and rivers, but also quiet environment, really away from the hustle and bustle, and even more rare is ”convenient to go anywhere”! It is convenient to punch in at various attractions
There was a surprise when I checked in. The girl at the front desk smiled very sweetly and enthusiastically told us that because the room was allowed, we specially upgraded the room for free! Pushing open the door, the spacious room and the picturesque landscape outside the window make people instantly feel refreshed. The table has already prepared exquisite welcome fruit, this intimate people feel warm.
In addition, the hotel also presented a swimming coupon, and went to the pool in the afternoon to take a swim, which was very pleasant. This stay, from the hardware environment to the soft service, every detail is impressive, perfect for vacation and convenience. It is definitely a full-point experience, highly recommended, will definitely come again next time!

TTaotaoyouyaodaxiannvAfter exiting the highway, it's just 5km to the scenic area. There were a lot of tourists during the National Day holiday, and the parking lot was full, but it was still very convenient for hotel guests to park. In the scorching summer heat, the hotel thoughtfully prepared fruit. When we left, in a rush, we accidentally left some things behind. We immediately contacted the concierge via WeChat, and they quickly helped us find and sort it out. We're truly grateful! The weather was too hot this time, and we were quite rushed, so we'll definitely be back to Wunvzhou again!

The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage.
We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort.
The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up.
On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's.
A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about.
By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open.
It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
