I stayed one night to see koalas, checked in by myself, and saw many wild koalas. It's a 1-minute drive from the pier. It's a typical motel level. You can walk to see koalas around the hotel. It's a good place to stay.

What a little gem we found on Raymond Island. This accommodation & function centre is run by the Anglican Church and has a variety of accommodation options. My friend & I stayed in a comfortable motel style room with a queen bed, a single bed, bathroom and inc tea, coffee & microwave. The surrounds are very natural with wonderful birdlife, kangaroos and quite possibly koalas. We did the koala walk nearby and saw at least 15 koalas in their natural habitat. The Abbey is situated on the lake, and there were 2 very comfortable chairs all set up with a coffee table between them, perfect for drinks watching the sunset over the water. There is a large oval type grassed area and a large conference room/art studio with a commercial kitchen. There is a lovely country style chapel in the grounds with beautiful hand made stained glass windows.
