This hotel felt completely unprepared for the Spring Festival travel rush. Given it's a Marriott property, I didn't expect much, but it was still disappointing 😮💨. It's been around 28°C in Xi'an during the day these past few days, and the room was even stuffier.
They didn't even have air conditioning 😱, so my back and hair were soaking wet when I slept at night!
Also, the toilet in the room wouldn't flush properly. When I asked the cleaning lady, she just said, 'That's just how this toilet is!'
The hotel breakfast was the same for all four mornings I stayed there, with no variety. They started clearing up half an hour before closing, and the juice ran out very early and wasn't refilled! Every time I went for handmade noodles, they'd tell me to wait 5 minutes, but when I came back after 5 minutes, they usually hadn't even started mine! They don't give you a number or keep track of orders, so there's no sense of priority or who ordered what!
Sigh, I don't recommend it.
