Lavande Hotel (Xi'an Bell Tower)

This hotel near the Bell Tower has an unbeatable location! From Xi'an North Station, it's a direct 30-minute ride on Metro Line 2. Once you exit, just turn left and walk about 20 meters. (You can download the Xi'an Metro app in advance; both kids and adults can scan to ride directly.) The hotel lobby is clean and tidy. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We booked a king room with a terrace, which was bright and airy. The staff were also very warm and polite. The hotel is very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter, all within a 5-8 minute walk. Downstairs, there are tons of food options, coffee shops, and even a supermarket, which is super convenient when traveling with kids. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel because there are so many delicious places right downstairs. There's also a direct shuttle bus to the Terracotta Army downstairs, and even travel photographers looking for clients. Since there were six of us, we booked a transfer package on Ctrip in advance, which saved us from waiting for a full bus. The South Gate of the city wall is about a 20-minute walk away. We found a popular BBQ joint at the foot of the city wall there – you might want to book ahead. Eating BBQ and having a drink right by the city wall, it was truly delightful! We also found a popular cafe called 'Laida' in the Muslim Quarter where you can take great photos with the Drum Tower in the background – the photo spot is really nice. This hotel is perfectly located right by Bell Tower Exit A, so you can see the Bell Tower as soon as you step outside. It's also very close to the Muslim Quarter and the Drum Tower, and you can even walk to the City Wall, which is super convenient. The lobby is spacious, and the front desk handled check-in very quickly. There's also a lounge area. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast had a great variety, which was fantastic. They even have a laundry room with a dryer available 24/7, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely thrilled with my stay! This hotel is brand new, but there wasn't even a hint of that 'new smell.' The facilities are super modern, and the room was so quiet. The front desk staff, especially, were amazing – they even gave me a little gift when I checked out. I stayed for several days, and the best part was the fantastic location. It's just a short walk to the Bell Tower, and there's a subway entrance right outside, which was incredibly convenient. I had a packed three days exploring Xi'an; there's so much amazing food, I could barely keep up, haha! If I ever get the chance, I'd definitely come back to Xi'an.
