Jinjiang Inn (Xi'an Bell Tower)

Jinjiang Inn is an economy hotel in the huge Bell Tower area of Xi'an. The area is influenced by a large population of young Tang Dynasty enthusiasts. When we arrived in our hotel room the toilet was not working. Since I have plumbing experience I wanted to resolve the problem myself, but I was warned not to touch anything, it is the responsibility of the hotel. Actually it took two days for the maintenance person to fix the problem! ~ Many small restaurants are located around the corner from the hotel. ~ One small elevator for such a big hotel seems inadequate to me. The best part of the deal is the reception desk. The people behind the desk are alert to any type of problem. When I realized I had forgotten my charging wire, Zhang Mengjie, the young woman behind the desk, not only lent me her charging wire, she said I could use it through the whole time of my stay. Excellent! Thank you, thank you!!

- The location is great as it's around 300 metres to the Drum Tower, Zhonglou (Bell Tower) Metro Station & Huimin Street (Muslim Quarter). - The room was clean. - The towels were clean & have no funny smell. - Tooth brush /paste & comb were provided. - There were 2 bottles of water provided daily. - There is a kettle in the room. - There are 2 types of free drink provided at the lobby. - If you have big luggages, use exit 8 of Zhonglou Metro Station to use the escalator. If I'm in Xi'an next time, I will return to this hotel again.

Very clean, helpful staff and people on hand to help book tours. Room cleaned and tidied each day, amazing water pressure!

not bad near the city centre easy to find subway and transit to airport

Great location right in the heart of the city center and in a backstreet so it’s quiet at night. It’s a bit old inside the room but it does the trick.

Near Muslim quarters and Bell Tower MRT station. The condition of the room is basic but acceptable for the price.
