Sheraton Xi‘an Hotel

I keep staying here because the location is very convenient for me. As an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated, but the service is truly exceptional. It's the kind of excellent service that comes from years of experience and a strong foundation.

The building is a bit old, but the service is excellent. They have robots that deliver meals, and the breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend the Rou Jia Mo (Chinese burger) and Zhen Gao (steamed rice cake). The front desk staff were very friendly, and there was someone dedicated to opening doors for the shuttle service. They even offered complimentary Starbucks coffee.

I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel is well-equipped with all the amenities, including a desk which was very convenient for work. It was a comfortable stay. Beyond the basic toiletries, they also provided mouthwash. There's a gym and a pool. The decor is a bit dated, but that's to be expected given its history. I often see many foreign tour groups staying here whenever I visit.

Coming to Xi'an for Chinese New Year, choosing the Sheraton was definitely the right call. The front desk manager gave us complimentary breakfast upon check-in, which meant we could wake up naturally and then enjoy our meal – huge thanks for that! The breakfast spread offered a fantastic variety of Xi'an specialties: 'sauteed noodles,' sour soup dumplings, buckwheat noodles, cold noodles (liangpi), and roujiamo (Chinese hamburger)… The taste was on par with what you'd find at local restaurants, so we could try other foods outside the hotel. The suite was perfect for a larger family, with two separate and comfortable rooms. It was also great for when relatives and friends came to visit. The hotel's location is convenient, not far from the city center and several attractions. Taxis are easy to catch, and the Tummen area wasn't congested at all. The service was truly five-star; every staff member was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The day after we left Xi'an, it started snowing heavily. I regret not staying two more days to experience Chang'an (Xi'an) covered in snow.

It's a 40-minute taxi ride to the airport. The hotel is located on the west side of the city, in a very quiet area with no commercial streets nearby, making it ideal for business trips. The front desk even upgraded my room.

Right from check-in, I felt so welcomed. The moment I entered the hotel, a bellboy immediately took my luggage and directed me to the front desk to check in. The service was incredibly enthusiastic. Later that evening, I called reception to ask for some toiletries from Lily, and they were delivered very quickly. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely be back!

1. The room is a bit small, incomparable to other newly opened Marriott hotels. 2. Few rooms have a separate wet and dry area. After staying one night, the front desk finally arranged one for me, which I really appreciate. 3. Both the housekeeping staff and front desk employees proactively greet guests, clearly reflecting the hotel's corporate culture.

While the hotel has been open for a while and the facilities aren't brand new, it's very well-maintained and clean. It would be even better if there were separate shower stalls, but I understand renovating an older hotel can be challenging. What truly impressed me was the staff's warmth and enthusiasm. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was professional and attentive. Since it was my first stay, Angel at the front desk even upgraded my room, making the experience far exceed my expectations. I ended up extending my stay by three nights. This is truly a hotel with a heart.

First time in Xi'an with the kids, randomly picked a Sheraton and it turned out to be a great choice! The stone carvings and murals in the lobby are quite impressive. The hotel is not far from the City Wall, and it's very convenient to take a taxi to the Muslim Quarter. Cecilia proactively upgraded us to a room with a view. The room amenities were complete. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Thumbs up!
