EASTERN HOUSE(Near Bell&Drum Tower City Wall)

Upon entering, we were greeted with a welcome gift for our stay, and check-in was handled very efficiently, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and tidy, and the small window meant the sunlight wasn't too harsh, perfect for sleeping in. Breakfast was simple but offered a good variety of tasty options. At 3:30 PM, the butler reminded me about afternoon tea. This alone time was wonderful and therapeutic; I even wrote in my diary. It's nice to treat myself while traveling with kids. Time really slows down, and it's truly enjoyable. Upon checking out, we received another gift bag with neck patches. My husband and I each used one on the high-speed train – it was really thoughtful. This slow-paced hotel added a sense of comfort to the otherwise bustling National Day holiday crowds. If I get the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. The hotel's location is quite good, very close to the Bell and Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter, Zhonglou Community, Yongning Gate, Sajin Bridge, and other attractions. It's basically a minimum fare taxi ride to get to them, and if you're up for walking, several of the closer ones are within walking distance. There are many eateries nearby, with Youji Caihe just diagonally opposite and Zui Chang'an within 300 meters. The hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup at night were all quite delicious. The hotel staff were also very enthusiastic!

The room was decent, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff and all the other service personnel were very proactive and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea were also quite good. The only minor issue was that the bathroom and shower doors didn't have weatherstripping, so they made a loud noise when closing. On the plus side, bottled water was available on every floor, which was very convenient.

Traveling to Xi'an with my child this time, a friend recommended the Dongshe Hotel (Bell Tower branch). The hotel facilities and service were good, though a wider variety of breakfast options would be even better. They also offer sweet soup in the afternoon. The location is quite good; you can walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. It's also only a few kilometers from the Shaanxi History Museum and Datang Everbright City.

Our overall stay was very pleasant, and I'd like to extend a special thanks to the front desk staff and Auntie Yan, the housekeeper on the 6th floor. With the continuous high temperatures in Xi'an, our room's daily supplies were used up quickly. After I briefly mentioned needing more bath towels to Auntie Yan, she quietly and proactively added two fresh towels to our room every day. When we ran into her before checking out, she greeted us warmly, offered us pre-prepared ice water, and reminded us to keep the air conditioning on. Her attention to detail and genuine sincerity made her service incredibly heartwarming, truly reflecting the warmth of the East House Hotel. However, the hotel's breakfast restaurant experience could use some improvement. The auntie at the noodle station seemed to have a poor sense of hygiene; she used gloves that had handled raw eggs to directly touch the serving bowls. After receiving our bowls, we could clearly see residual raw egg whites. Her service attitude was also cold, even a bit impatient. I hope for a better experience on my next stay.
