Ji Hotel (Xi'an Bell Tower South Gate Branch)

Environment: Excellent location, right next to Zhuque Gate! Service: Warm and welcoming. I was genuinely satisfied with the room after checking in. They even changed me to a room with a view of the city gate, and they handled it very promptly without complaint. They asked if I needed hot water before leaving in the morning. Even the room was cleaned promptly. Facilities: Relatively new.

Check-in was incredibly smooth; the receptionist's smile was like a warm spring sun 🌞, and I got my room key in under 5 minutes. She even thoughtfully gave me directions to the nearby food street! 🛏️Room Details I Loved - The mattress was as soft as a cloud ☁️, instantly relaxing. After three days of eating and shopping, my legs were about to give out, but I fell asleep the moment I got back – so comfortable! - The bathroom had a great separation between the wet and dry areas, and the hot water came out instantly at the perfect temperature 🌡️. After showering, I wrapped myself in a fluffy towel, snuggled on the sofa, and watched TV – pure bliss! - The small table by the window faced the street view. Enjoying coffee ☕ in the morning while watching the passersby perfectly captured the atmosphere of the ancient capital. 📍Location Super Convenient A 10-minute walk to the South Gate city wall, super convenient for strolling around and seeing the lantern festival at night 🏮! The subway station is right downstairs, providing direct access to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter – a true blessing for lazy people! 💡Tips: We recommend choosing a higher floor room for a quieter night! The room was tiny, the smallest I've ever stayed in at a Ji Hotel, bar none. With my suitcase in, I had to walk very carefully. The staff were very friendly; they probably knew about the hotel's limitations, so everyone greeted us with smiles. Every time we left, the receptionist asked if we wanted to take some bottled water – very thoughtful. The only downside to this super convenient location is the incredible noise outside. It's right across from the South Gate bar street, and I'd get woken up at 2 AM by people coming out after drinking – very annoying. So, it's up to you to decide. Personally, I think if you have trouble sleeping, choose this hotel with caution.

The hotel, located next to the city wall, has a very distinctive exterior. It's a bit far from the subway station, but the area surrounding the city wall has a charming, antique atmosphere. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. The renovation space in the old building was limited… but transportation is very convenient in all directions…

The room was clean and quiet with excellent soundproofing, making it easy to fall asleep. There was free parking. The receptionist, Rongrong, provided excellent service; she even gave us a hot drink upon check-out. I'd definitely stay here longer in the future.

The location is good, situated between Xiaonanmen Morning Market and Defu Lane, making it very convenient for getting around. The downside is the extremely poor breakfast; it's probably the worst breakfast I've ever had at any Ji Hotel. There are practically no options; you can only get takeout from Xiaonanmen Morning Market and eat in the restaurant while enjoying the air conditioning.
