Niaodao Seascape is a local hostel-hotel located within a commercial building called Haibin Building (海滨大厦) and on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it so strategically located for sightseeing, food and shopping. You may walk to the Ferry Terminal to catch the ferry across to Gulangyu. Each room is equipped with a Xiaodu ai assistant in and if you can speak Chinese, you can request "xiao du xiao du" to help turn on/off the lights and curtains. Their room design is a bit funky :-). I had some washing to do and they helped me to get it done for free. Their staff are really hospital, they help you to carry your luggages to the room and down to the ground floor and ordering a Didi to the airport. There is a convenient store on the ground floor of the building. The Zhenhai metro is almost a km away but since taxis and Didis are easily available and cheap, it is no biggie. I rated them a 4 for facilities because they do not have is a fridge and safe in the room but all else is very good. I plan to come back to here to stay the next time I visit Xiamen.

The location is superb, with a bus stop right downstairs, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street next door, and Gulangyu Island directly opposite. I originally booked a city view room but was captivated by the sea view, so I paid extra to upgrade. Although it's a guesthouse, they pay attention to details: unlimited free bottled water, chilled sparkling water, and coffee are available. Breakfast is served at Pizza Hut on the 24th floor; while it's not very filling, the view makes up for it.

**Great location, beautiful views and thoughtful service** We had a pleasant stay at Niaodao Seascape Chaosu. The hotel has a great location with beautiful sea views, and the shopping street is just next to the hotel, making it very convenient for shopping, dining and exploring the area. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention to the team for their kindness and assistance as my father is on a wheelchair and required some special arrangements. They were very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a comfortable stay with a fantastic location, lovely views and warm service. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

The location is right on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, very close to the pier, so transportation is super convenient. Our room had a sea view. We stayed for two nights; the first night's room was a bit small, but on the second night, we switched to a king-size room which was much more spacious. It had an 1.8-meter king bed and a 1.5-meter sofa bed. The service was very warm and attentive. However, the breakfast included with our first night's booking felt really not worth it – it was just a Pizza Hut set meal, and honestly, it wasn't very good. It would have been better to just eat out on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.
