The cleanliness was subpar; there were yellow, dirty stains on the showerhead, and the soundproofing was terrible.

Excellent service. The location is fantastic, being very close to Zhongshan Park Botanical Garden Pedestrian Street and within easy reach of many other attractions. The laundry facilities were also a very convenient amenity.

Facilities: The facilities are showing their age a bit, but are still an improvement compared to another Home Inn I've visited. My main gripe is the excessive number of internal stairs, which made carrying luggage quite cumbersome. All rooms are located on the second floor, which is convenient, though it's a very long floor with over a hundred rooms. Cleanliness: Acceptable, but the duvet covers weren't as white as I'd expect. Environment: The location is great, making it super convenient for sightseeing via the subway, going for walks, or hitting the shops. Service: Service wasn't great. I was quite surprised when housekeeping asked guests to take their own trash cans out of the room for cleaning – I've never seen anything like that before.

This time, I chose to stay at the branch near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and it was quite good. It's newly renovated, so all the facilities and amenities are brand new. Its proximity to the subway station makes it incredibly convenient for both shopping and visiting tourist attractions. Highly recommended!

First, the positives: the location is incredibly convenient, close to everything. Transportation links are excellent, making it quick and easy to get back to the hotel after an evening stroll down Zhongshan Road or by the beach. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which is a real plus. Now for the drawbacks: the room's cleanliness was a serious concern. To my dismay, there were still chicken bones left over from the previous guest in the room. I don't mind if a room is small or a bit old, but poor cleaning is simply unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. In summary, if proximity to the main commercial districts and pedestrian streets is your top priority, this place might be worth considering. However, those sensitive to cleanliness should definitely think twice. Overall rating: 6.5/10

I came to Fujian for a trip and stayed two nights in Xiamen. The Home Inn has a pretty good location, making it very convenient to get anywhere by taxi. The hotel also offers free laundry and drying services, which is a nice bonus. However, the room was quite small; after putting down our suitcases, there was barely any space to move around. Also, the soundproofing wasn't great. So, if you're considering this hotel, you might want to keep these points in mind.
