Xiamen Zhongshan Seaside Hotel (Zhongshan Road Ferry Terminal)

This hotel is affordable and comes with complete amenities. It's clean, the environment is excellent, quiet, and the service is exceptionally warm. Here are a few highlights from our family stay: Coming out of Yangzhou Station, take bus Y1 to the Slender West Lake West Gate stop. Get off and walk straight for about 50 meters, and you're there. The hotel's main entrance is right next to McDonald's, and the back exit leads directly to the Slender West Lake West Gate entrance. For those traveling with children, seniors, or people who easily get lost, you can't get any closer – this point definitely gets a perfect score. Taking a taxi or Didi to Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, or Yangzhou East Station costs between 10 and 20 yuan, which is incredibly budget-friendly. Yangzhou's morning tea culture and food scene are fantastic. Taking a taxi from the hotel, there are various local eateries a few kilometers away in different directions. You can check out popular restaurants on Dianping for authentic Huaiyang cuisine – the taste is simply amazing. In short, if you're planning a self-guided tour, staying here is incredibly convenient and excellent. Thumbs up!

The room was exceptionally clean. The facilities were very convenient, and the hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly. I'll definitely book this place again next time I visit.

The location is excellent, right at the west entrance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. It's also near the First Ferry Terminal, and you can see Gulangyu Island from the balcony. The hotel facilities are decent and acceptable. The only downside is that the family room isn't sea-view; it's a side view. Otherwise, transportation is great, and within a one-kilometer walk, you'll find plenty of good food and drinks.

The room was really comfortable! The bedding was spotless, and the location is right by Zhongshan Road, directly across from Gulangyu Island. You can't see the island from inside the room, though. The room was spacious enough and very clean. On the second day, I switched to a twin room, and from that direction, there was construction noise starting early in the morning, a constant rumbling. When I asked the manager, they said the window wasn't sealed properly. Anyway, that twin room wasn't good at all, and it was 80 yuan more expensive than the twin room on the second floor!
