Fantastic hotel experience! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always on hand to help and responding promptly to any requests. Our room was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hotel's location is perfect, super close to the beach, so you can enjoy sea views right outside. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. I absolutely loved it, and even spotted a chubby ginger cat!

Nestled on Gulangyu Island, this hotel boasts beautiful scenery and a super convenient location. It's easy to catch the sunrise in the morning, just a three-minute walk out the door. The staff provided thoughtful and warm service, explaining details like luggage handling and ferry boarding even before check-in, which was very considerate! The breakfast and afternoon tea were delightful, making for a truly pleasant stay.

A very beautiful hotel. It's really close to Sanqiutian Pier. You can leave your luggage at the pier, and hotel staff will bring it to the hotel for you. The hotel is spacious and lovely, and the sea view rooms are very comfortable. There are a lot of mosquitoes on Gulangyu Island in the summer, so remember to bring mosquito repellent!

Decided to stay on the island for a night last minute, and I picked this hotel on Trip.com in just five minutes. I was a bit worried there might be issues before arriving, but the actual stay far exceeded my expectations! Everyone was comfortable and happy, so I wholeheartedly recommend it! The staff were incredibly responsive and efficient throughout our stay. From luggage transfer at the pier to check-out, the service flow was seamless. Every request was promptly addressed, and every detail handled. Their hospitality truly lives up to its excellent reputation. The hotel is located near the entrance of Sunlight Rock Scenic Area, offering both tranquility and convenience for getting around, while ensuring a comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Even my biggest concern, mosquitoes, was effectively managed by the hotel with effective repellent measures, completely eliminating any worries about bites. Honestly, there’s really nothing to fault.

Great location, right by Sunlight Rock, with a beach and Shuzhuang Garden just across the way. The luggage service was a nice touch. Our room had a large private yard, and breakfast was quite good.

What I appreciated most were the extra services. The hotel offers a luggage transfer service where you can drop off your bags at a transfer point near the ferry terminal and start exploring Gulangyu Island right away. The next day, after checking out, they'll deliver your luggage back, allowing you to continue sightseeing, which essentially saved us a night's stay on the island. We booked a 270-degree terrace sea view room, but the actual sea view was just a small sliver. Since it was west-facing, I thought we'd catch the sunset, but you actually can't see it from the room; you need to walk to the beach, which is about a ten-minute stroll. We were told the hotel used to be the private residence of a sugar industry magnate. The room was quite spacious, and the afternoon tea and breakfast were decent. Overall, a pretty good stay.

This hotel is a converted old villa with beautiful scenery and excellent service. They contacted us in advance to arrange luggage pick-up, which was very considerate. Just be careful of mosquitoes; the hotel already provides plenty of mosquito repellent, but I'm just particularly prone to getting bitten.
