I paid 5780 RMB for two nights for an Executive Floor room, yet received absolutely none of the services or benefits an Executive Floor guest should expect. During happy hour on the first night, the food selection was incredibly meager, and none of the dishes were labeled. When I brought this up to the manager in charge of the Executive Lounge, they immediately offered a string of excuses and their expression turned quite unpleasant. After that, every time I saw them in the lounge, they had a sour face. For a mid-level hotel service manager to have such poor demeanor is truly a disservice to the Hilton brand. Of course, the hotel's Guest Services Manager, Joni, was incredibly thoughtful and stepped in to help. The hotel's location is good, but the facilities and decor are definitely showing their age. Perhaps to save energy, both the rooms and public areas are poorly lit.
