Our stay here was absolutely worth every penny. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and attentiveness of the entire team. The service truly went above and beyond — every staff member was incredibly friendly, offering great advice on where to visit around Chengdu, and even thoughtfully prepared an oxygen bottle for our trip to the national park.
A special highlight was the hotel’s manager personally offering us a car ride to the national park — such an unexpected and generous gesture that made our journey even more comfortable and memorable.
On our first night, we enjoyed a delicious hotpot at the hotel, and on the second night, we tried other Chinese dishes — every meal was authentic and absolutely delicious.
Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a stunning view, making it a perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring.
This was without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We left with full hearts and amazing memories. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Chengdu — we would love to come back again!

Perfect
GGuest UserThe name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain.
The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view.
---- Details ----
In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful!
The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it.
They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the ”wish tree”) that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help.
The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke.
The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period.
---- Services ----
The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch!
---- A Lovely Experience ----
The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹
---- Conclusion ----
If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!
GGuest UserUsually I wouldn't write review for any of my stay as more or less the same. However, i have to stop here and give a highest rating and appreciate to the host. This is small hotel that run by a family siblings and they are all very nice, friendly and taking care of our family. I booked 1 family room with 2 breakfast only, but they upgraded it to 2 room to us and with 4 breakfast without any changes at all. The room are well equipped with all the latest facilities, is much better than those international chain hotel. The breakfast is prepared by themselves, they specifically serve chinese glutinous rice ball this morning as today is 冬至 to all the chinese in the world.
They are so warm and they even walked to our car, wave and say goodbye to us. They made us feel we are in our home country.
Forgot to share, we had our dinner here, the food are superb nice with very reasonable price. 4 of us, we order 5 dishes, only cost us RMB 100
GGuest UserOur stay in 四姑娘山山之旅私汤别院 was unforgettable, we will cherish these memories in our hearts forever. The hotel was really stunning and the room view really beautiful, we had everything we needed and we slept wonderfully, the bed felt like a cloud! The family who owns this place is very friendly and helped us with everything we needed, even though our chinese is not so good we were able to always understand each other. They really are very welcoming and kind hearted people and we will never forget them. We really recommend this place to anyone who likes nature and wants to detach from the bustling cities in China for a while. 再见!~
SSashikaIt is home away from home. I spent a wonderful week at this hotel. The check-in is smooth and fast, bed super comfortable, room beautifully decorated, warm, and cozy. Breakfast is delicious, plenty of vegetarian options. The bosses are wonderful people who are always willing to help and give advice to their customers. They will do their best to cater to your needs. They helped me multiple times arranging a taxi to scenic spots and eventually organising my transfer to Chengdu. They would also do many other cute little things that made my heart melt ❤️. I really felt at home. Thank you so much, my friends, for your care and constant support. I cannot be more grateful!
The location is great. The Shuangqiaogou scenic spot is within a walking distance, as well as a big supermarket where you can buy fruits and whatever you need. You have to take a taxi to the other two scenic spots, but it's no problem. You can order lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. There are also many restaurants within a walking distance.
I highly recommend this place to everyone who are looking for a cozy and friendly environment. It was a fantastic stay that exceeded my expectations!
GGuest UserWhen I went to Siguniang Mountain for a trip, I chose the Youran Muju Smart Hotel in Siguniang Mountain Town. I felt that this hotel was very good, with spacious and bright rooms, comfortable enough, warm and thoughtful service, and very good breakfast. It is particularly worth mentioning that the coffee here is delicious. Siguniang Mountain has beautiful and pleasant scenery.
SSuthaneeNew hotel. Clean. We got room upgrades for free. Comfy bed. Great heater. It does not Locate on the main road but no problem if you travel with car. Disposable towel. Toilet and shower is not separate. Wet and dry area is not separate. Convenient store is in walking distance.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a fantastic location, right at the entrance of Shuangqiaogou Valley. It's only about 100 meters walk to the scenic area, and the owner even suggested we could park our car in their lot and walk to save on parking fees. Despite being newly opened, there was no unpleasant 'new renovation' smell. The hotel is very modern and arguably one of the top establishments in this ******* region. They even have smart robots, similar to those found in chain hotels, which the kids absolutely loved. The owner kindly upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The room boasted a full smart home system, and the AI assistant 'Xiao Du Xiao Du' was incredibly convenient, especially for the children. There's also central air conditioning, which worked perfectly as temperatures dropped in the evening. The following morning, we had breakfast on the hotel's rooftop. The dining environment was very comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area was a beautiful mountain-view garden, which was truly impressive. After breakfast, we went back to our room and slept until noon. We then grabbed a hot pot lunch next door before our return journey. This hotel is highly recommended and truly made for a wonderful trip.
GGine HuiThe stay was ok. The hotel staff were not that friendly and helpful. The staff didn't greet us whenever they saw us during our 2 nights stay there. It is a small property and we were probably the only few customers there and yet it felt like we're were strangers to them. There is no elevator and we had to lug our luggage up to the 4th floor where our room was. Likewise we need to carry them down from our room when we checked out. If you need suggestion and information about getting around and what to do, don't hold hope that the staff is able give useful tips, you would have better luck checking the Internet. Breakfast was not ready by 7.30am on our first morning and the choices were limited due to low season. We had some soup noodles which was nice. The room was decently decorated. However, the toilet bowl flush was annoying and flushed by itself and splashed water out onto the floor with the ”faulty” sensor. There is no air conditioning but luckily there was floor heating. However, the heating took extremely long time to heat up. We also had to request them to activate the heater for us even though they knew we were in the room in the cold winter, really lack of sense of good customer service. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the Changpinggou visitor center. We visited in February, during the low season, 80% of the shops were closed in Changpinggou area so it felt like a dead town. We went to Shuangqiaogou for meals and it seemed livelier there.
GGuest UserIt's advertised as a hotel, but it's definitely more of a guesthouse. There were two elderly women at the entrance; one couldn't speak Mandarin, which made communication quite challenging. The room itself was passable, but the bed linen was subpar, especially on the top bunk, which was very wrinkled. We all had to use our own sleeping bag liners. The family room had bunk beds, and the low ceiling meant all three of us kept bumping our heads. The bathroom was incredibly tiny; I'm quite slim and could barely turn around, so I doubt anyone larger would even fit. Parking was available right outside, there were many restaurants nearby, and it was only a 5-minute walk to Mount Siguniang.
GGuest UserI paid 10 yuan more to upgrade the room. The scenery was nice and it was convenient to be right across from the entrance to the Changpinggou Scenic Area.
