I rarely give bad reviews, but this time I was genuinely furious! First, the room was freezing, only 20 degrees Celsius. The air conditioning could only run on cooling. When the staff came in, they told me it was because the central air conditioning wasn't working for heating, which I understand. However, the room was indeed very cold, and when I asked the staff how to fix it, they told me to leave the door open. It was around 11 PM, and I was a woman traveling alone. They told me to leave the door open! I said I was scared to stay alone with the door open, and the staff again said that the floor was full and I shouldn't be afraid. I don't understand this logic. Am I scared of ghosts instead of people? Also, the edges of the door were badly worn. Then I went to shower, and the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, with a gap of about five centimeters! And there was no place to put shampoo and shower gel in the shower; it had to be on the floor! I was incredibly shocked! When I tried to use the shower gel, I found it was empty! Did the housekeeping staff not check the rooms at all when cleaning? Furthermore, the room had terrible soundproofing; I could hear many people talking outside the door all night! I won't go into details, but in short, it's not even as good as budget hotels like Home Inn or 7 Days Inn! I quickly switched to the Wanhua Hotel across the street this morning, and the experience was so much better! I'll never stay at the Ramada again when I come to Xinzheng!
