Yakushima was the highlight of our trip to Japan and I can’t praise this little gem of a hotel enough. The owners are absolutely delightful and take great pride in showing their guests an extremely high level of hospitality. They grow fruit on the property and we had homemade orange and guava mouse waiting for us each day as an unexpected surprise when we returned to our cottage after exploring the island. A tropical storm hit the island on our last day and the owners came to check on us as the power went out a couple of times and they wanted to make sure we didn’t need anything and understood how the hot water heater controls worked. I’m glad we chose to visit the island and couldn’t have been happier with our cottage. Wonderful place and a wonderful property.

We loved our 3-night stay at Morino Fairy and only wish we added more nights! The cottage is charming and comfortable, and having the outdoor bath, deck, and roof deck were wonderful bonuses. The host left amazing little desserts in the fridge each day, which were a delicious treat after a day of hiking or sightseeing. We also really appreciated the informational binder of things to do in Yakushima, including hand-drawn maps of nearby walking paths. We’d love to return!

そんなに無理なお願いをしたとは思わないのですが、まず否定されて、対応は従業員にさせて 旅行中憂鬱になりました。 楽しかった屋久島旅行もガッカリです。 クチコミがとても良かったので、家族を連れての久々の旅行だったので残念です。 オーナーのかたからすれば毎日のことかもしれませんが、私は二ヶ月も前から楽しみにしていたので宿選びを失敗したと思っています。 屋久島にはまた来てみたいですがここに宿泊はないですね。
