Hosts are very warm, friendly and helpful. They even provide a shuttle service from and to the railway station beyond a fixed schedule. Outdoor onsen is lovely. The shared bathrooms are well maintained but pity the basin has no hot water for handwashing. Meals can be provided on request.

Very cozy accommodation. A little further away from the shibu onsen and does not provide keys to all the bathhouses. But closer to snow monkey park and has a super cozy onsen in the accommodation. Very nice couple who take care of everything and good Japanese breakfast.

The destination of my trip is Wild Ape Park. The map of this homestay is top-notch. The owner drove up the mountain to the entrance, and walked down the mountain for 15 minutes on the return trip.
Traditional Japanese-style homestay, with open-air hot springs (an additional charge of Y300 per person).
A little worse is that there is no supporting facilities nearby, and dinner can be eaten at 7 o'clock at the latest, otherwise there is no place to eat, and there is no convenience store to buy, only soda machines.

Все замечательно прошло) ужин и завтрак вкусный и сытный. За ужин доплата 2200 за человека. Татами удобные и мягкие одеяла теплые. Завтрак включен был в стоимость. До парка снежных обезьян пешком минут 20-30.

Comfortable lodgings with outdoor onsen and included full Japanese dinner for a very reasonable price. Although the staff only speak a little English, when I asked in (my limited) Japanese they went above and beyond at short notice to provide my partner with a delicious meal which catered to his dietary requirements. For that they earn a fantastic review as this was a rather challenging request when preparing Japanese cuisine (eg. no soy sauce). The accommodation was comfortable Japanese style and the facilities in the room were quite dated, but perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Conveniently located for seeing the Snow Monkeys. If you ask in advance they can arrange transport.
