Yangshuo Sudder Street Guesthouse

Pros: It’s the most popular hostel here for international backpackers. Very social. Common space is very nice, especially the backyard, absolutely gorgeous. Offers free bikes and e-bike rentals. Beds are comfortable. Friendly English speaking staff. Cons: Shared washrooms is kinda eh. Questionable hygiene. No shampoo and body wash. No towels. Private rooms are double the price of hotels.

Great hostel. Came back aftershave 8 years! Nice garden and swimmingpool. Great and helpfull staff. Good faciliteiten like scooter and bike rental.

The receptionist was extremely kind and helped me with all the questions I had, making my stay very easy and comfortable. The location is really good, and the pool is perfect for cooling off in the heat. Highly recommended!

The hotel staff was so nice and welcoming, the facilities were excellent, the pool really great and enjoyable after a long hot day under the sun. Everything was perfect, one of my best accomodation in China by far, I even forgot my battery and they arranged to ship it back to me!!

Excellent hostel, nicest one I stayed in in China. Pool was a lifesaver in this heat. Cheap beers and scooter rental, lots of international backpackers. A bit out of the ancient town but nice view makes up for it. Great value private rooms with beautiful views and balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would really recommend for Yangshuo! A lovely sociable, chilled atmosphere. We ended up organising day trips and meals with fellow travellers. The location is just perfect, away from the noise and lights of Yangshuo with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of restaurants—and the town itself—within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also booked a couple of their activities on our last day which were really great—a Chinese calligraphy lesson with a local artist, and a short tai chi lesson at a local school. The private room had a lovely finish and the beds were comfortable.

The hostel is not so close to the main street and area, you need to walk 20 minutes to arrive there but is easy and cheap to get Didi (paid like 6, 7 yuans). The social is very good, you can meet a lot of people, the vibe is great!! The view from the hostel is very beautiful. The room is big, large, very confy and good. There are air condtioned, mirror, private beds with courtain, light and good plugs to charge. The only issue is the toilet, very small, only 2 western toilets and the cleaness was not good. There was moss in the toilets. The shows is good.
