Yangshuo Yuyuan Resort （Shili Gallery &Yulong River）

Choosing Yuyuan Jingshe Hotel was a great decision! The enormous green 'carpet' of land extends all the way to the Yulong River. In the morning, there was a cultural cormorant fishing performance, which is a non-intangible cultural heritage, and the kids absolutely loved it, lining up to take turns for photos. Taking pictures by the river was stunning; the scenery is just beautiful. A few days before we arrived, I heard there were heavy rains and flooding, so I was initially worried it would affect our trip. But to my surprise, the weather was sunny and perfect for exploring once we got here. Every photo we took turned out amazing! The hotel has four large swimming pools. We stayed in a standard room in Building 1 with a river view, and it was so comfortable to have tea on the balcony. We initially thought it was a B&B, but we were pleasantly surprised by how excellent the service and breakfast were! The staff are very enthusiastic and go out of their way to meet guests' needs. For them, the most important thing is that guests have a good time here. It was super awesome!

The hotel's environment is impeccable, absolutely beautiful. The staff were very welcoming, helped with our luggage, and greeted us warmly. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, making it the perfect choice for families. A special shout-out to the travel photography experience with the traditional ethnic costumes: the team was enthusiastic and professional, from recommending outfits to the photographer taking pictures and helping us select them. Our three generations were all very satisfied with the photos! 👍

I spontaneously decided to leave a review – this hotel is truly excellent! The room was spacious and very clean, and all the little details were perfectly taken care of. In the morning, you can watch the cormorant show, and there are various small animals around. You can open the window to enjoy the beautiful view of the Yulong River. A 100% perfect hotel, highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied! The kids had an absolute blast with the pool and lawn. Every staff member's service was excellent and made our stay very pleasant. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends when they visit Yangshuo in the future!

The hotel's exterior environment is exceptional; the lawn in front is meticulously maintained, and from a distance, you can enjoy the beautiful peaks and the Yulong River scenery. Unfortunately, the room view experience is quite disappointing, as opening the window directly faces a residential area. The facilities are a bit old and outdated, with simple furniture styles showing noticeable wear and tear. The cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and breakfast was very mediocre, feeling mismatched with the price. The staff service was standard, neither outstanding nor poor. Overall, the scenic views are a plus, but the interior room conditions need significant improvement.

This is a fantastic homestay right by the Yulong River in Yangshuo. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views. It's also very clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of corner protectors on the furniture. They offer a lot of activities, making it perfect for families with kids. I've stayed at many guesthouses in Yangshuo, and not many have such a large lawn. The butler service was excellent too; you can pre-arrange meal times, which was very convenient.

Absolutely beautiful! The pool is huge, kept my kids entertained for days. **Ambiance:** Great for photos, the large lawn area offers breathtaking views! **Facilities:** The parent-child activities are fantastic, my little ones loved the cotton candy. **Service:** Excellent, all the staff were very friendly. Being able to sit on the room's sofa and watch the kids play in the pool was truly amazing! 👍

The room was a bit small, but it had pretty much everything you'd need. The mini-bar was free, but we didn't drink anything in it except for the water. I'd suggest the hotel replace unhealthy drinks like Coke and Wanglaoji with sugar-free options or organic fruit purees that are suitable for kids. The washing machine and dryer were a definite plus, and the complimentary photoshoot was also good. However, the hotel's treatment of the cormorants was a major drawback. They were brought out for photos for 20 minutes during the day, with their mouths tied, and then left tied to the boat for the rest of the time with no one attending to them and no free movement at all. This needs to be protested!
