Atour Hotel West Street Yangshou

Booked a family room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room is clean, and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen and laundry staff are also very helpful. Only minor negative point is the toilet door cant be locked and the control for lights for 2nd room is located in 1st room. Other than that it's been a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

I’m traveling with my family and booked a Family Room. The room is great and clean. If I need more amenities, they give it to me immediately. The hotel location is great. If I go out, there’s a lot of food outside near hotel. The staff are friendly and nice, they try to communicate with me using translator because I cannot speak Chinese. Huge respect, especially to Shuilin & Shuiying sister in front desk, they were a huge help. The hotel view is great, I can see the Lijiang River, the view is amazing!! Also free laundry service, we can wash and dry our clothes, they even have the detergent and softener. They also have infused water at the lobby which is nice because the weather was very hot. And they have free ice cream too!

Good room, great view. Only complaint us that my room was not ready by 5pm on day of check-in, I had a 30 minute wait when I should have been able to check-in after 2pm.

Very clean and big room. Can see some mountain. Very near to west street. Will come again.

The location is really good. Breakfast was also good at a reasonable price. There's a kidsroom next to the restaurant on the first floor. It's good for kids to play.

Walking distance to West street and close to Shili Gallery and Sanjie Liu. Fortunately the hotel is quite new and the room was adequate and clean, but the view we booked with the room was disappointing (we could only see the mountains trough a small gap between the houses). Although the hotel states on the website to be non smoking there was a smell of cigarettes in the corridor. The entire building next door is under construction, so there was a lot of dust and noise outside (8am to 10pm). We didn't hear much of the noise in our room though and the hotel offered some earplugs for free 🙉 The staff only speaks Chinese, which made communication difficult.

Hotel Atour is located within walkable distance from West Street and close to major restaurants. The hotel has spacious family rooms to comfortably accommodate 4 people. The breakfast spread is good (even for vegetarians like me) . The hotel has a play pen for kids. There is a bike rental option just outside the hotel which is also a plus.

First time staying at this local China chain. Impressed with the rooms. Function and modern. Good value too. However, if you are not traveling with local friends or speak Chinese well, it will be a challenge.
