The room is exactly as good as it looks in the photos. Opening the automatic curtains in the morning to reveal the breathtaking panoramic view of the limestone hills is an unforgettable experience and something everyone should have on their bucket list.
The location is excellent. Not only does it offer spectacular views, but it is also more convenient than we expected. A small private ferry operates throughout the day, taking guests across the river to the city. Alternatively, you can enjoy a scenic 30-minute walk across the bridge, which offers incredible panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. DiDi (China's Uber) is also readily available and costs only around 20 yuan to reach the city center. The area around the hotel is residential and fairly simple. It may not be what you expect at first, but it has its own authentic charm.
The hotel does not have a restaurant or offer meals, but the room is equipped with a small refrigerator (including a freezer compartment) and an electric kettle, making it easy to prepare simple breakfasts or snacks.
The room is not brand new and could benefit from some minor renovations, particularly around the bathtub. On some nights, condensation forms on the outside of the large windows, temporarily blocking the view, although this was never an issue during the day.
The staff were very accommodating and even brought a small table and two chairs onto our balcony, making it the perfect place to enjoy a late-night drink while taking in the view.
Overall, you come here for the incredible panoramic scenery, and the hotel absolutely delivers.
