Fairfield by Marriott Yangzhou Slender West Lake

Facilities: It has everything you need, but the standard of the facilities is comparable to an All Seasons Hotel. If you get a room facing the street, it's incredibly noisy if you open the window for ventilation. You can clearly hear people talking downstairs. Hygiene: The bedding was clean and quite comfortable. Environment: It's very close to Slender West Lake, about a 400-meter walk to the west gate. Service: Very enthusiastic.

My stay at the Fairfield by Marriott was, overall, a good experience. The location is exceptional, nestled in the Slender West Lake scenic area, right next to its West Gate. It offers a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle, with excellent transport links that make getting to all of Yangzhou's main attractions incredibly convenient. The room design was simple yet stylish, with a good sense of quality. My only slight reservation was the open-plan bathroom design, which compromised a bit on privacy. However, the front desk informed me that renovation work has already begun to address this, so future experiences should be even better. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the hotel staff. Their professionalism and service mindset were truly impressive. After checking out, I realized I had left some personal items behind. The hotel responded quickly to my call, efficiently located my belongings, and proactively helped arrange their return via SF Express. Their meticulous and responsible approach, combined with their efficient service process, truly deserves high praise and commendation.

There was a slight hiccup that caused a long delay in check-in, but the staff provided excellent service. The hotel's location is very convenient, and my parents had a comfortable stay. I recommend this hotel.

A Marriott-brand hotel with an excellent location, just a 7-8 minute walk from the West Gate of Slender West Lake. The surroundings are quiet and pleasant. They even offered complimentary minibar items on the first day and two cans of lotus root juice. Overall, a very good stay.

The hotel room was tiny, and the facilities were poorly designed. There wasn't even a door for the bathroom! The surrounding area was also bad, just a regular residential complex. The lobby was practically nonexistent. It's basically an average business hotel and definitely not worth the price. It should probably be priced around 200 yuan normally. The only highlight was the friendly staff, which I appreciated, but everything else was subpar, comparable to a budget chain hotel. I rarely leave reviews, but this was truly a disappointment.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-6 minute walk to Slender West Lake, and there are several spots nearby where you can enjoy Yangzhou morning tea, which is quite convenient for tourists. The front desk staff were excellent – friendly, polite, and even shared a thoughtful travel guide they'd prepared, which was a great help for independent travelers. If I had to pick one minor downside, it would be that the bathroom counter space could be a bit larger.

Right across the street from Slender West Lake, and close to Yechun and Xiangyuan restaurants, so you get to enjoy great food and beautiful scenery all in one go.

The hotel's location is great and the service is excellent. The breakfast selection and quality are decent, perhaps because many guests opted to eat Yangzhou morning tea outside, so it wasn't crowded. However, for a hotel of this category (express hotel), I felt the room rates increased a bit too much during the holidays. The value for money was just okay.

First off, the room was really clean. The underground parking lot is huge, making parking super convenient. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. The room itself was spotless, tidy, and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, even helping us store our luggage. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk from Slender West Lake.
