Lykia Botanika Beach Fun & Club - All Inclusive

The hotel was below the standard of what we were expecting – apparently 4*. Rooms: original room was crowded with the four beds and the shower was too low to walk in without ducking. We asked to move rooms and the second was better. Pools: Okay, but crowded. Sun Loungers: Usual story, only if you're up at 8am and reserve one will you have any chance. Restaurant and Food: Mixed quality, always busy, never felt relaxed due to the number of people running around like headless chickens. Staff: Helpful (mainly russian speaking) but not all good at speaking English＞ Amenities: Tennis court with basketball net, run down. Hotel guests: Mainly russian, very few English in comparison. Private beach: Cocktail bar was poorly ran, not much choice, food was okay, beach sun loungers always taken, pebbly sea with waves, good sunset. 5-10 minute walk path to beach: probably the best bit of the whole experience, diverse wildlife and jungle feel, nice in the evening. Pool bar: great rose wine, watered down Efes beer in small glasses, badly made cocktails, good measures in spirits, good staff. Noise levels: High. This is not a quiet hotel. Busy in all areas. Entertainment: Good evening shows, fun pool activities (though the music is too loud at times when there's no activities). Distance to Fethiye: 30 minute taxi. The hotel next door (5 minute walk), Club Tuana is ten times more exclusive, posher, cleaner, bigger, better. (we visited one evening as our relatives were staying there).

Family holiday - 2 adults & 2 children Rooms - good size, clean, tidy & fresh towels. Pools - good size, slides & baby pool - all day entertainment with yoga, boccia, beach volley, water gym, water polo & air rifle. Beach - Pebbles/stones in the first part of getting in the sea 🌊 however there is a Pier with steps to get in or dive into the sea. Beach Sandy-ish by sun beds, bar food, water sports - we did a 7 island boat trip which was brilliant 3 stops for swimming / snorkelling & able to Scuba dive too for extra, clear water, lots of fish & able to snorkel in the caves. There is a great nature walk to the beach (5 mins) with frogs, crabs, moor hens & crickets in a nature reserve. Restaurant - good variety, we were here for 2 weeks - pool bar, chips, pizza, nuggets & ice cream etc great for kids For an AI resort very little or no queues either in busy August season 🙌🙌🙌 Staff brilliant in pool bars, restaurants & reception, however always helps to know a little Turkish to break the ice - Please & Thank You etc. Nightly entertainment, kids disco & various shows & beach disco. Animation team - Berk, Varley, Lenti, & DJ Goktug were great every day. Yes as per other reviews there are other Nationalities, but no problem with any of them & to be fair all good & friendly. Been to Turkey various times & this is in our top 2 holidays. Designated smoking areas would help too for non smokers. In summary a Centre Parks within a nature reserve in Turkey with great weather & entertainment

Wow Berk & DJ Goktug made this holiday. They were so much fun. My son loved the water polo, although I would have liked more activities for older teens. Food was sooo nice with great selection everyday. Rooms basic but served a purpose. Lovely walk to the beach. Bar & restaurant staff were really nice and friendly.

We visited Lykia Botanika looking for a relaxing holiday and we definitely achieved this. The hotel was lovely and the location is perfect if you want to be away from pretty much everything. There is a private walkway to the beach which takes 2-3 minutes and there is a beach bar and beach snack bar. The main pool is a great size however if you go in peak season expect there to be an issue with beds. We were lucky as the hotel was relatively quiet however most of the beds are under a canopy and if you move them, the poolside attendant will make you move it back by pointing. Talking about communication, a few reviews talk about staff being unable to speak English, this is true that they do struggle but don’t buy into the “they only speak Russian and Turkish” because some of the Russian guests were also struggling. Our main frustration was the evening entertainment. Berk and the entertainment team work really hard but are let down by the fact that 6 nights out of our 10 night stay were “disco” with another 2 being karaoke and only 2 nights of entertainment being put on. This was the biggest let down of the holiday and the reason we won’t go again. Like I said though, the entertainment team were great and shared the guests frustrations. Finally, the slides were great and the poolside bar team including Engin, Burakhan and Mert were fantastic and the food is some of the best all inclusive food I’ve had and the snack bars are great.

The service staff at this facility are absolutely fantastic! They are friendly, welcoming and always do their job to a high standard. The venue is also impressive, with plenty of greenery and trees to provide a serene and peaceful atmosphere, even when it is bustling with people. The animation team has clearly put in a lot of effort to create enjoyable activities for guests too. However, there are some downsides. Mosquitoes are a real issue here, and even with protection, you are bound to get bitten. The food variety is vast, but it unfortunately lacks flavor and hygiene, with flies often landing on some dishes. The biggest problem, however, is the wifi. It barely works anywhere except the lobby, which is frustrating. Additionally, room cleaning is subpar and feels rushed, with the staff seeming to work overtime and not putting in the same level of effort as other staff members. Lastly, the bar area can become quite unpleasant in the evenings due to the heavy smell and smoke from hookahs, which is something that needs to be addressed. The strong smell and smoke emanating from the hookah can be quite overwhelming, even if you are seated in an open area. It is not just unpleasant, but also unhealthy for those around, especially if you are exposed to it for prolonged periods. Therefore, it is important for the venue to reconsider serving hookahs in regular seating areas and find alternative solutions for those who wish to indulge in this activity. Overall, while there are some downsides to this facility, the positives outweigh the negatives. The friendly staff, beautiful location, and enjoyable animation activities make for an overall pleasant experience. However, improvements could be made in terms of food hygiene, room cleaning, and wifi connectivity.

Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We arrived 24th October 2023 and stayed for a week. We knew it was the end of the season but didn’t expect the hotel to be packing up while we were still there. They ran out of several things while we were there and was told that they wouldn’t replace as it’s the end of the season. So the kids getting ice cream was off the cards as they had run out by day 3 of us being there. Even the shop where we bought ice cream ran out. Breakfast tea ran out on day 2 and so I had to have Turkish tea. The restaurant went from being in half service to less than a quarter of the service. Food options were massively reduced. Not ideal when travelling with children. We had lizards and mosquitoes in our room as there huge gaps around the door frame. The bathroom flooded every time anyone had a shower and the whole stay we only got 4 towels each day. There are 5 of us so not ideal. The pools were freezing in October but obviously that’s not the hotels fault. I just wished I had known before. We have always picked a hotel with an indoor pool option for this reason. The location is great and very secluded. It’s a beautiful walk to the beach through the woods and the beach is picture perfect. The evening entertainment is non existent. The mini disco lasted 10 minutes and some nights they cancelled it due to low numbers. If you don’t like cats even be aware they are everywhere in the hotel- even in the restaurant.My son was horrified when one jumped in his knee during dinner. Location wise if you want to venture out it’s 30-40 minutes on a bus. Not what I expected from a 4star all inclusive. Overall I wouldn’t visit anywhere near the end of the season.

Easy check in which was great after over 6 hour delay on flight, receptionist told us to go straight for food has restaurant was closing which was really good of them, room was big nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries which I never used but if u wanted to use extra weight in your luggage there would be no need to take any with u on holiday, food was good u could always find something, the pool area was kept clean, they could av done with more toilet but we just went back to our room most times. The lads at the pool bar are lovely they was very friendly and chatty the restaurant staff could do with a few lessons off them as most of them seem to not be bothered always looking at their fones and very miserable most of the time the girl who serves the tea and coffee needs a lesson on customer service lol The entertainment team are lovely especially Valery and Ezgi they tried their best with me at the darts and rifle range 😂 the walk to the beach is lovely and well the beach party was great 😂 they came in the golf buggy to take people back to the pool bar which may I add is open 24hr and all drink are in with your all inc all in all meet some lovely people had some great laughs

What a lovely time we had, We arrived after a 6 hour delay, at check in they took us straight to the restaurant to get something to eat before it shut in 10 minutes time and was told to check in after we'd eaten, At check in this was very smooth and we were taken to our rooms by gold buggy , Our room was clean and vert spacious ( room 1409 ) with a garden and pool view , great location on 1st floor , the room was massive with a modern bathroom and pretty much everything we needed, fresh towels everyday , toiletries etc , the cleaner was in everyday , made beds , brushed and tidy round , don't think the floor was moped at any point though, Food was good , you wouldn't go hungry , drinks & cocktails also good , bar staff lovely to talk too , Ibrahim & Misbah always checking we were ok and had a chat with us daily , Big shout out to animation team especially Valery & Ezgi who got us involved with Darts , riffel shooting, Bingo and Beach parties, we had a great laugh with them , lovely people 😍, We enjoyed the lovely walk down to the beach which took about 10 minutes, beautiful scenery, And after the beach part had finished we had a golf buggy tale us back upto the hotel , a few of us had a few too many to drink lol , Cutting a long story short , we had a fab 10 days , 4 of us , 2 x couple and we would definitely return for a chilled out break
