Yanji Dinosaur Hot Spring Hotel (Korean Folk Village Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom)

The hotel boasts an upscale environment. The staff were incredibly warm and enthusiastic, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The hotel also features a hot spring, swimming pool, and gym. Its location is super convenient, right next to Dinosaur Kingdom and a Folk Park. This will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Yanji.

A truly satisfying stay. From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly comfortable. Everyone had a smile on their face, especially the kind lady from housekeeping who patiently introduced Yanji's local delicacies. The place was spotless, and the location was also fantastic. It's conveniently located near attractions like the Folk Park and Dinosaur Museum, both just a 5-10 minute walk away. If I get the chance to visit Yanji again, I will definitely stay here.

The facilities are modern, and the location is fantastic, making it very convenient for visiting the theme park and folk village. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped. They offer a buffet breakfast and a gym, and the hot spring baths were a real highlight. Definitely recommended!

Our stay was fantastic! We booked the dinosaur-themed slide room, and the two kids had an absolute blast playing in it. The room had excellent soundproofing, the bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. The service, from the front desk reception to room service and even the hot spring service, was absolutely impeccable. Couldn't find a single fault!

The room had an unpleasant odor, and with open windows in the corridors, I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. The service was quite subpar. Parking at the entrance was chaotic, with no one checking if drivers were actually hotel guests. The hot spring was very small, and the water park was even more disappointingly tiny. That said, there isn't much else to do in Yanji anyway. The air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted and made a whining sound all night.

Check-in was handled very dismissively. I understand it's peak season and rooms are in high demand, but they simply informed us our room wasn't cleaned and made us wait. We'd booked three rooms, and my request for even one room to settle the kids was flat-out rejected. Even a simple inquiry would have shown some effort to provide service. The room had an extremely strong renovation smell; we had to open the windows at night to air it out. Upon entering, the AC was blasting at a freezing 21°C. We only realized after turning it off that it was probably to mask the pungent odor from the renovation. The room with a courtyard was a letdown; the courtyard itself clearly hadn't been maintained in ages, making its inclusion entirely meaningless. Out of our three rooms, they assigned them far apart – one facing south, another facing north. The distance between them was so significant it felt almost deliberately inconvenient, as if done out of spite.
