Hotels in Korean Folk Village/ Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom, Yanji

The Didi driver thought we were locals and said it was an old hotel to receive leaders! After arriving, it did feel a bit fancy, with many photos of leaders, but the room I booked could be newly renovated! The front desk lady was very gentle, the hotel was in a good location, not far from anywhere, and the breakfast was very rich and very Korean style!

I was a little confused before coming here because I always like newer and larger hotels. Later, I thought about going to the Folk Custom Park to take photos the next day after arriving, so I decided to stay here on the first night, so I booked one night. Unexpectedly, it was completely beyond my expectations. Although the facilities are old, I have to say that, but they are very well maintained. The room size is OK, but everything is very complete. Since Yanji is not big, it is very convenient to go everywhere, so I booked this hotel for the next two days. The front desk was very enthusiastic, especially on the third night, the parent-child room we originally booked was gone. The hotel not only showed me other rooms, but also let me book the cheapest room. They arranged the floor I wanted for me, and gave me free breakfast. When I left, I gave a small lucky bag. Very considerate. Yanji is suitable for eating, drinking and taking photos, so the room is completely OK. The cost performance is very high. I praise it.

I rarely write reviews, but I was lucky to come across this B&B this time. It made our family's stay very comfortable and enriched our travel experience in Yanji. We wanted to book a small courtyard room, but after it was fully booked, we booked a fruit forest room. Let me talk about the service first. The boss was very enthusiastic during the phone consultation and answered all questions. When we arrived at the residence, it had just rained heavily in Yanji and it was dark. The whole B&B looked quiet and stylish in the light rain. Let’s talk about the room facilities and hygiene. The room is very clean, the mattress, quilt and pillows are very comfortable. The boss also prepared a small box of fruit, disposable towels and toilet covers. The back door of the room faces the grape vine. I thought it would be really good during the day. It would be very pleasant to stay in this small courtyard for half a day. The cleanliness is the best among the B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Except for the slippers in the bathroom that don't look very clean, of course they just look bad, or they may be worn out, and the water drains too slowly when taking a shower. Everything else is fine. It is worth mentioning that there is an air-raid shelter and a viewing platform next to the B&B, and you can also pick some tomatoes and cucumbers. This must be praised. The boss said that if you don’t waste it, you can pick it for free. Of course, you won’t waste it. It’s a great experience. . I’ve said a lot, let’s look at the pictures!

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with smart voice control throughout. You could even monitor the laundry's progress right from your room. The laundry room itself was spotless, and the dryers were incredibly efficient. A special shout-out must go to the breakfast – it was absolutely delicious! The beef soup with rice was even better than what you'd find in outside restaurants. They were so generous with the beef; the amount in a single bowl was easily equivalent to, or even surpassed, five bowls of Lanzhou beef noodles you'd get in the south. Absolutely fantastic!

The location is very good, about 1.3km away from the internet celebrity wall, and it takes 10 minutes to walk there. Opposite is the Yanji Department Store, and there are still many people there after 10 o'clock. Convenient for eating and shopping at night. The breakfast is very rich, with fresh yogurt cups and salad cups, which is on par with a five-star hotel. I felt the tea bags in the room were very fragrant at night, and the lady at the front desk even gave me a bag of black tea and green tea for trial. Generally speaking, there are no disadvantages except that the room is a bit small.

First of all, the check-in environment of this hotel is very good. Maoer Mountain can be seen directly from the window of the room. Secondly, there are welcome fruits at the door. This is the most attentive store I encountered during my trip to Northeast China. When you stay at the hotel, you can enter the folk garden next door for free to take photos and check in. If you have any requirements, you can directly tell the front desk. If you have the opportunity to come back, you will choose this hotel again!

The facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all superb. Its proximity to Dinosaur Kingdom and Folk Park was a major plus. However, there were a few significant drawbacks: 1. The hotel's layout is incredibly sprawling; it was an extremely long walk to our room. Getting to and from the room felt like an endless trek every single time. 2. The front desk was noticeably understaffed. The attendant checking us in had to repeatedly stop to answer multiple phone calls, making the check-in process incredibly drawn out. 3. To my dismay, the hotel's swimming pool was closed for maintenance. I'm unsure if this was just bad luck or if it's perpetually under repair, but it instantly negated a key reason for choosing this hotel. 4. A quick rant about Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom: The entrance fee offers terrible value for money. For over 200 yuan, there was surprisingly little to do. We had planned for a full day, but we were done in half a day – it was utterly boring. The only truly appealing attraction, the 7D cinema, was also closed for maintenance. What a joke! Despite being marketed as one 'Dinosaur Kingdom' complex, accessing the hot springs, Happy Water World, and performances all required additional payment. A family of four could easily spend well over 2,000 yuan for a single visit. I definitely won't be returning.

The hotel I chose for this trip was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped by an elegant yet incredibly welcoming ambiance. The exquisite decor and soft lighting perfectly created a sense of comfort. Check-in at the front desk was incredibly swift. The staff were exceptionally friendly; they not only provided a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities but also offered a guide to local attractions and recommended restaurants. This immediately built up my anticipation for exploring the city.

I stayed at the Youyike Hotel in Yanji for a few days and it was a truly great choice. The room was spotless and comfortable, with no unpleasant odors. The owner and staff were very friendly and polite. They patiently answered any questions I had and even offered suggestions for nearby restaurants and places to visit, saving me a lot of time. The location is also convenient; catching the bus or taxi is a breeze, and barbecue and local specialties are all within easy walking distance. My stay was incredibly stress-free, and the price was right. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yanji.

Staying in this hotel in Yanji made our family very satisfied and unforgettable. It was a little late when we arrived at the hotel. Xiao Han, Xiao Meng, Xiao Xuan and Xiao Ni at the front desk were still enthusiastic; Yao, the hotel supervisor, was very considerate and took the initiative to help solve many questions. The girl was also very patient and thoughtful; the Korean food introduced was very authentic and not a popular online restaurant; she also helped to contact the car to Tumen and sent coffee coupons. The hardware facilities and geographical location of the hotel itself are also the first choice for travel. Before returning, I have recommended the hotel to friends who are about to travel to Northeast China.
